Newport is a up and down team especially against real good teams. I dont know about the transfer pushing them over the top or how much he will play. He has only been practicing for a few days but he will add much needed depth.

I have even seen head coach Brannen scouting games for NCC. They put the work in and had a good plan against Newport thats why they won the game.

I feel sorry for HC with Holmes coming off a loss. Holmes by 25.

Newport looked tired to me they looked like they had no legs.Thats what happens when you dont use your bench. The six players that played four days in a row were exhausted.

I think Newport will have a let down after a big game against Holmes last night.I will take Connor in a close one.The Newport coach only has played 6 players three days in a row so i think they will be tired.Connor by 5.

The coach is scared to play the bench.He has e couple kids on the bench that could give the starters a few minutes rest.Before this tournament he was using the bench IMO i think he just wanted to make sure Newport played Holmes again.

This is true but what i think they are missing a pure shooter. When teams play zone like PC and Villa they have had a hard time scoring.They need a shooter that can open up the zone so they can get the ball inside or drive to the basket. I know people is going to say Rico,JJ and even Pittman can shoot the three and i know they can but not on a consistent basis. There defense is great but im not sure it will be enough to overcome there offesive problems this year.

If Lloyd can beat them by 20 then Bellevue is worse than i thought.Lloyd is young and not that good so Bellevue must be pretty bad then.
