Highlands while having a great season will not match up with the Dawgs. Basketball in games like this is about match ups and the match ups are bad for Highlands.

You are correct. Villa and Bellevue are the only two with NCC on the regular season schedule out of the Div III conference.

Beechwood continues to post wins. Obviously the 2 seed in the district does not matter. But the 3/4 certainly does. I am sure whomever is the 3 seed will feel they have a gret shot at winning the district game. But.....Beechwood....with the exception of the Newport game continues to impress.

Not a pleasant night for the Tigers as they have to play a third time against the Thoroughbreds in 3 weeks in the district tourney. You have to hate drawing an NCC team in the All A and in the district. Then tossing in a regular season game in the middle. Kudos to Bellevue for playing NCC. You do not see any of the other DivIII schools playing them (unless Beechwood does and I am not sure).

Brossart defense is what makes them special. I expect them to hold Lloyd to under 35% from the field to earn the low scoring victory.

Wow this might be the most impressive build up of any coach I have ever seen especially one that has never coached a varsity game in his life. I do not know him or how he will function but it seems that everybody is expecting an immediate change in the program. I hope he can do it. The one thing that impresses me based on the posts is his communcation with parents. That is a great place to start.

Until the football program is backed more heavily by the district administration it does not matter who coaches. They got this going the right way several years ago and won games at the varsity level. Too many coaching changes and too many interferences keep this from ever getting off the ground. JB you seem to know something about the Bellevue program and Mike Herald..........is the program down or is it poor coaching....or a combo?

Ok lets say you have a really nice kid who wants to be part of the team and cannot cut it on varsity. So what if he plays JV? Every team has different circumstances....could be a number s issue. Now it can kill your program building if he is taking time away from a soph.....but again every circumstance is different. Wish I knew the details so as to make a good judgement.

Very true Mustang.......This year's version of the Tigers is well down compared to the last several years. Hopefully they can turn things around the rest of the way.
