  1. Cats lead 28-7 at the half and then they score again midway through the 3rd quarter this last score was 26 yard pass from Mitchey to Jean and now lead 35-7 with 8:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
  2. I will be watching for sure.
  3. Cats score again now 3-3 this a screen pass from Minchey to Skinner for 10 yards and a touchdown. It is now 21-0 Cats.
  4. Cats are 2-2 on the offensive drives this one on 7 plays and 60 yards and capped off again by Texas transfer CJ Baxter with a 5-yard run to make it now 14-0 Cats.
  5. I am also glad this game is on Sunday as pretty much a stand alone game will be good for both University's.
  6. A great new Dr. Pepper commercial with Lane Kiffin and the Boz.
  7. Cats defense starts their year off right as well with a 3 and out. The Penguins only managed 8 yards on their 3 plays.
  8. Cats start the season off right with a 7 play 74-yard drive with a touchdown on a CJ Baxter run of 15 yards. Cats 7 Youngstown State to receive the ball.
  9. The Broncos of Frederick Douglass (2-0) travel across town to take on the (1-2) Commodores of Tates Creek in city battle. The Broncos will put the 37-0 all-time record vs. the other 5 Fayette Co. public schools and 39-0 over all Lexington Schools. The Broncos opened the season with 2 of the tougher games in all the state to begin the season. The defeated Highlands 41-20 and Dupont Manual 27-7 to start the season. The Broncos defense has been really good to start the season. The offense is averaging 34 points a game while the defense is only averaging giving up 14 a game. The Commodores are (1-2) the lost big in their first two games to 5A power Woodford Co. 55-13 and to 4A Ashland 47-29 and then picked up the first win of the season a 24-14 win at 5A South Oldham. The game for sure should be streamed on NFHS Network for sure and probably on Glicod Sports as well. This should an easy win for the Broncs,
  10. It was 45-6 Beechwood last year. I don't think it will be that bad at Simon Kenton this year, but it will still be 20+.
  11. Kiffin decided late tonight that Wright and Harris will now not be on the LSU roster for tomorrow's game vs. Clemson.
  12. Pikeville gets a huge gain down to the Rams 20 but there was late flag and brings it back. A big call for the Rams.
  13. Rams come back to make it now Pikeville 37-30 with 2:26 to play.
  14. Well that's the game a pick 6 by the Panthers. Pikeville leads 37-23 with just 3:44 to play.
  15. Rams score but the extra point attempt is blocked and it is an 8-point game at 31-23 with 5:40 to play.
  16. A lot better showing for the Defenders at a tough environment.
  17. Not looking good for the Rams again vs. Pikeville it is now 31-17 with just about 7 minutes left in the game.
  18. Maybe people will start giving the Broncos some more respect. In their first two contest on the polls, they were 65-18 underdogs vs. Highlands and 31-18 underdogs this week at Manual.
  19. Reds fall to the Brewers 10-7 in the opening game of the 3-game weekend series.
  20. Manual gets on the board with some Bronco reserves in and it is now 27-7 with 2:02 to play.
  21. Douglass blows this game wide open on 64-yard run by Carter Ross the extra point is no good. Douglass now leads 27-0 with 6:32 to play.
  22. My goodness on a 3rd and 19 the Manual player is tackled after a gain of about 10 they another flag and a first down. The Crimsons have had more first downs by penalties than they have by their offense.
  23. Manual starting to have several players cramping up.
