Guarantee I can name about Twenty or Thirty other teams that could have had about 10 or 12 straight trips to the State Tournament if they played in the weak 16th Region!

Too bad Sanford could not play. I have a feeling the outcome might have been much different.

What about when they lost too them by 30 points earlier in the year? But if you do wanna talk about bad games to watch the way Mason County played in that Sweet Sixteen game against Elliot County last year was a terribly played game for them.

Yes I have and I agree they are serious basketball players and have that basketball savvy. I saw them play in this game against Lewis County and they looked impressive. All I am saying is people need to get realistic and understand that Elliot County can not play with any team in the nation. For people to say that, proves they really must not watch any basketball besides the basketball going on in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

At Rupp Arena in the State Tournament, Yes. In the 16th Region Tournament, No the other teams should not even show up!

I completely agree. Fifteen games inside that weak of a region is dishonorable to their players, and does not prove them ready come tournament time. Oh wait they don't have to worry come tournament time because the region is so weak.

I agree, dont get me wrong. I would most definately rather see the state championship banner hung in Elliot County than I would almost anywhere else. I'm just trying to get people to realize some facts.

I dont know if some of you fans ever get out of Salt Lick any but too say Elliot County is the best team in the state is just plain ridiculous! I do agree, they are no doubt one of the top ten teams in the state but definately not number one! I have seen Elliot play this year and they are very good but for instance if Elliot County played a team like Duncanville, TX like Scott County did they would get run out of the gym by 30+ points. I am 100% hoping Elliot County does great this year but I am just stating facts.
