GRC 77 Montgomery Co 63

Featured Replies

Score was 56-51 end of 3rd quarter. The Cards pull away in the 4th for the 14 point win.

#3 for Montgomery Co was on fire tonight...very good shooter. Rash had a very sold game...he is much better than his 8th place ranked player in the region.

Defense in the second half was the difference in the ball game. Montgomery Co had several turnovers in a row and the Cards never looked back. Stenzel stepped up his 3 point shooting, Rogers keep taking in down low and scoring at will. Very solid game by Zollo, making the defense commit fouls.Great job of passing the ball out of the post, and opening the outside shot.

Robert Hatton was a force taking the ball to the basket. Played a very good over all game. He does play better when he is not sick.

The play of the game was a ...miss. Jaylan Daniels caught the ball one handed, went up to slam it home...it was too hard and popped out. Daniles, Bailey and Thomas gave us good minutes off the bench. The Cards are improving each game...stilll have a way to go.

Did Hatton play or is he still sick?

He is still sick but has a heart of a warrior. A tuff as nails kind of kid. I didn't know till tonight he threw up 4 times during the Madison Central game. You gotta love the way this kid plays.:thumb: He did better in the second half and had some crucial 3's. Had some great passes down low too.

Looks like GRC s beginning to put things together

Great game for GRC! A well balanced intense attack inside and a balanced outside attack. Once again Ryan Williams and Patrick Bailey used to shut down a star in Rash. Could not stop him because he is a force on the floor, but he was frustrated by these two all night. Robbie Stenzel will be one of the best if not the best baller in the state by the time he is done at GRC. Poor Zollo is hounded every time he touches the ball.....his time will come SOON!:dancingpa

8 point game with Montgomery at the line for 1 and 1 with about 3 minutes to go. If the Indians could have cut it to 6 it might have been down to the wire. Instead, missed the front end - Stenzel with a bucket and a foul and the Indians are forced to foul and take bad 3's to try to come back.

Nice game for GRC. Stenzel and Rogers were pretty much unstopable. Hatton was solid as always. Zollo got the job done down low. Williams was a gnat and stayed in Rash's lap all night.

For the Indians, Robinson was the surprise hitting 5 three's. Rash was solid. Curtis made good plays and knocked down open shots. Good to see Crisp back from the ankle injury.

Always an intense game between the Indians and the Cards. Maybe this year GRC will win the regular season and Montgomery Co will win in March???????

Glad to hear Stenzel is back and played well tonight. Good job Cards! Keep it rolling!

He was 5/7...great shooter.

Hey if it get us a draw like you all had in the region last year....it would be worth it....

Thanks ER....Cards are looking better each game.

I thought Clark should have used the clock a little better the last few minutes of the game instead of rushing the ball down court and shooting outside shots. I thought they played well in the last 4 minutes of the first half and played well the second half. Montgomery had a very scrappy team that was on fire from the 3 point line.

I thought the game changer was when Hatton was trapped in the backcourt and threw over the press to Robbie for the dunk! I thought that took MC's fans out of the game and really got CC charged!
