Yes two players would disagree! This team has more depth, more talent, and then the team wasn't playing as a team! They were depending on either Preston or Tristan! This team has Stenzel, Hatton, Rogers, Zollo, and a deep bench that can also score!

Is the Brewer kid playing at all for the Cards? Why or why not?

He is seeing some action a few mins here and there but not alot! I have heard he might be a little banged up with a back injury I believe! He is a solid shooter and can guard pretty good! He should be a starter next year but this year he is about 2-3 off the bench!

I thought the game changer was when Hatton was trapped in the backcourt and threw over the press to Robbie for the dunk! I thought that took MC's fans out of the game and really got CC charged!

Why would they be just as anxious? If GRC puts this all together they will be a definite contender for State! Where will MC be on that?

 

This statement makes no sense? GRC is the better team talent wise which would make it very fun to play against them for Montgomery County, any athlete thinks it's fun trying to play and beat a good team, so why would they not be anxious to play them a second time.:thumb:

Im sorry everybody i didn't mean to get everybody excited. I was really just teasing MC. The truth really is that GRC is the better team. You can complain about free throws and bad calls. But we can all agree GRC is better. I don't think MC is as close as everybody thinks as much as they got jacked up (like always) to play GRC. To be honest the regular season games don't mean a whole lot IMO. I just want the wins in Feb. and Mar. I think MC will have a very good season with a few bumps in the road here and there. By the way, I loved the atmosphere in the gym Friday night, that was awesome. Haven't seen that many people at a game (other than Mason Co.) in a while.

I will agree with you that they were a two headed monster. And with out those two they struggled. But they had a bench as well. They were also very experienced. If you take Robbie off of this year's team they would still be a good team, but you probably would not be talking state championship. I think that as they get older and wiser in the next three seasons they will definitely live up to the title of best ever. They're not there yet though. I can honestly say that if the two teams played today P and the crew would win by double digits. Not because they were more talented but they were a better TEAM . Plus they had Preston. LOL!:lol: 2010-2011 is gonna be fun!

If this isn't true about any team in the state I would like to know who you would be speaking of? This statement truly wasn't thought through! The starting 5 are there because they are the best for the team at that time. All 5 play an important role whether it be defensive, or offensive if you were to take a starter from any starting lineup it makes that team weaker.

This years team so far hasn't gelled like i feel like they are going to. The '07 team was in a similar situation the year before the region title win. They were extremely talented individually but just werent on the same page consistantly. If this years team starts playing well as a whole more consistantly they will be ridiculous. The team comment was more about communicating on the court, working as a team. Especially on defense. We have some very talented individual defenders but as a team the defense is not there yet. Even though they could score with anybody, the '07 team's best quality to me was they're defense.
