They do have some good players. one in particular is Bradley Foree (6’4” freshman) He can "jump out the gym". He can slam the ball 2 handed easily. -

Melissa Altman says her three children have been treated unfairly by both students and school officials in Grant County for years. Altman is now suing the Grant County School District, its superintendent and the principal at Mason Corinth Elementary School. "You can't deny these children an education. It's the only way that your children are going to make it is by going off to college and getting an education,” Altman said. “And they're denying my children this because of skin tone." Altman went on to say she's contacted her children's principal and superintendent because of a list of things from racial slurs by other students and teachers, to her children's clothes being ripped while riding the school bus. Altman gave one example in detail. "He was in the first grade. Students on the bus took a black permanent marker to his face, colored it in, dragged him to the back of the bus. High school kids. The high school and elementary ride the same bus," Altman said. Altman's attorney, Eric Deters, says they want the school district to recognize there's a problem – implement change – and then give compensation for her children. "When we read the narrative that she put together of what happened, just heart broken. I immediately placed myself in her shoes," Deters said. Altman says the lawsuit may make her family a bigger target, but it's something she had to do. "That's my job as their mother,” she said. “That's my job is to protect them. Make sure they get an education. Prepare them for the world when they become 18," Altman said. Officials at the Grant County School District say they have not been officially served the complaint. Therefore, they have no comment. http://www.wcpo.com/mediacenter/local.aspx?videoid=40652@wcpo.dayport.com&navCatId=23

I've got a feeling Gallatin County is going to be a lot farther up on that list than a lot of people think. They have 2 new move-ins that are very good and a very tallented freshman that already had varsity minutes last year as an 8th grader that are going to help alot. This summer they surprised alot of very good teams. -
What is your thoughts on the 8th region teams this year? I will share my thoughts later in the post.

How long have you been living under a rock?

1st off, I didn't say the kids in the list were not great players. All I'm trying to say is that there are other kids that Demling hasn't seen yet that should be in that list also.
-
I truly think that this list can not even be close. Demling dont even see all of the players in Ky so how can he rank them. Personally I can't wait until this season starts so I can see how this year pans out. I bet it will be a little different than Demling thinks.
-
I agree they have some great players on their team but they need to play more as a team. I say that only after seeing them play Gallatin County this summer. When Gallatin was down and started to gain points on them they seemed to fall apart and the game ended in a tie.
-
Kristian Morgan and Nick Brown, two freshman kids that played for the Wolfpack AAU team last winter and will be playing together this year at Gallatin County should not be overlooked. Both are great athletes with very good basketball IQs.

What coaches are saying that. They have to get past Gallatin County first. -

Gallatin County 2009/2010

I agree Gatorfan. They have beat some teams this summer that I think will surprise a lot of folks. They have played Carroll twice and beat them by 20 or so points the first time and over 30 points the second time. They also have won games against Henry Co, Owen Co, Cooper, Burgin, Louisville Doss, and tied in a game with Louisville Moore. There were other good teams they beat also that slip my mind. Their quickness and bball IQ is taking them and will take them a long way this year I believe. I'm very exited about this Gallatin Co team and what they should accomplish this coming season!
