FarBeyondDriven Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 They split in the regular season with both teams winning at home. Gallatin has had Owen County's number for the better part of four years now. Owen has a tremendous size advantage that features 6'8, 6'5, and 6'4. Gallatin will be shooting for their fourth straight 31st District title. Your thoughts?
FarBeyondDriven Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Oh BOY! :taz::taz: :popcorn:Your thoughts?::sssh:
GatorFan Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I guess Gallatin might be a little to aggressive in this one! :sssh: Cats by 4 in overtime.
GatorFan Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 It may come down to who shoots more free throws. We all know who that will be.
04sportsfan05 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 This district is too hard to predict. Its hard to pick a winner in this game...but I am going with GC because, even though they are young, there core is still battle tested and seem to be a pretty tough out every year in the postseason. I also give Jones the slight coaching edge over Duvall. He always has his team ready. GC 53- OC 51
KY Baller Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I know this should be a dogfight but I'll take Owen by 6. These boys have a major chip on their shoulder.
Mack The Knife Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I have no prediction on the score :idunno:, but if recent history indicates anything, something bizarre will happen!:ohbrother:
ColonelMike Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Owen's under-achieved all season...perhaps they're getting ready to hit their stride now. They definitely have the talent to do well. I like Gallatin County, though. I watched a very gritty performance last week against North Oldham, and was impressed as always with Gallatin's effort. And Jon Jones is a superb coach. How about Gallatin 62, Owen County 58
