I think there is such a thing as bieng flat. Alot of times it is used as an excuse for a loss. But that's because I think they both go hand in hand. My definition of flat is; coming out and just going through the motions, playing as robots so to speak, lack of emmotion, not bieng excited when you or a teammates makes a big play.

If im correct, he free handed the outline by looking at the design on a hat, then filled it in from there. He's been painting Raceland's field for around 9 years. He did some really neat things back when I played. But this is his best yet. They have it covered with a tarp right now to keep the rain off. So at least it will look nice when everyone arrives. Although I don't think it will stay that way for long tommorrow night.

Yes it matters it's bragging rights for one, and it will secure a home playoff game. How were those bragging rights for you last year when Crittenden County beat you twice! Including a playoff win to send you packing for basketball? It was pretty nice for us last year to do that to Fairview. And I would like to see it happen again!

The first year of the Chris Jennings era(2002) there was a favorite. But that favorite was Raceland not Fairview. But we came in over confident and blew it! But I do get your point Doc and it's definately true. Although Fairview has only beat Raceland 8 times. It's always garanteed to be a ball game no matter what!

Raceland wins the strength of schedule battle hands down. The Massey ratings put Fairview with -26.36, and Raceland with -13.76. With Fairviews non district opponents bieng; West Carter, Bracken County, East Carter, Lewis County, and Paintsville. Racelands non district opponents bieng; Ashland, Greenup, Boyd County, Russell, Fleming County, and East Carter. Both Raceland and Fairview played mutual opponents with East Carter and Boyd County. With all that bieng said. Raceland does not play an opponent like Bracken County. Nor does Fairview play a team as good as Ashland. And Raceland still comes out with an advantage with the remaining teams on their schedule compared to Fairviews. That gives a small basis for comparison. I'm at work on my iPhone so for me to crunch all the exact numbers of points scored, win/loss records, etc. would be a long and lengthy task. So I will live that up to the "numbers guy" for further comparison:thumb:

I'm glad LC is turning the program around! Back when I played they put fear in most of the teams they played.

Most of the time I would agree with you. But I remember you saying in a different thread a few weeks ago that Raceland polls are not accurate this year. And I happen to agree with that!

If you don't believe me go pick up today's edition of the Daily Independent! You are also bieng called the underdogs going into this one. With Fairview bieng ranked 6th and you bieng ranked 12th!

I would really like to see the Rams lineup under center and get after it Friday night. I know it will never happen but I can dream. What I saw from the eagles, they are pretty fast in the secondary. But they are also quite small as well. Pounding it up the middle 4 and 5 yards at a time. Controlling the time of possesion and tempo of the game. Either way it's going to be a good game! Alot of big games in the area this week! It's crucial district games for everyone Raceland, Fairview, Greenup, Russell, and Ashland! All of them are home to I Believe. I wish I could see them all.

LCA wins out the rest of their schedule by 46+ with maybe an exception of Corbin.

That all may be true. But bottomline is they have only won two games and those two games are against a team who hasn't won a game.
