Food for thought...Monroe would have to go through #1-2-3 to get to BG. I would say that's a hard road!!! And I can't wait to host Desales. They are hurdle #1!!!!!

Unfortunately we have only two hotels in Tompkinsville. One is nice (Tompkinsville Inn) one has beds... You need to take in the BBQ places in Tompkinsville (Backyard BBQ is completely awesome). And if you dare to come before late afternoon on Friday you can eat some world famous Dovies burgers. They are open Saturday morning as well. You guys have a safe trip and I hope everyone stays injury free through the playoffs.

Even though Monroe's w-l ratio does not look very well I truly believe they will give Desales all they want. If they look for the rematch to CAL it will be a very long road North for them. Monroe will not just go down easy. They will play to the end. I have enjoyed your threads all year. Look forward to next year. But I truly believe we have four games left. Mayfield is just Mayfield. That's all I can say. The road through them comes through us.......see you soon!!!!!!!

See you in two weeks....My thoughts on tonight... Wayne county has a very good football team. Disciplined and well coached. Their line is executing very well and their backfield is outstanding. I hope they do good in the playoffs. I am a fan! Monroe came to play tonight! I heard smash mouth hitting all night tonight from both teams. It was so very exciting to watch as these two teams battled it out all night long. Wayne would shove it down Monroe's throat and Monroe would finesse their way back. What a game! Monroe is still a little bit out of sinc on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive schemes that have been implemented this year are setting the senior quarterback up for failure. He is an awesome passer that has kinda been set up for failure. Monroe needs to implement the spread more with concentration on short gains with their bigger targets. That is just not the case with this offensive. It's go big or nothing......They have some fantastic receivers that can run really good routes and catch and go. Arnett has a rifle but his confidence has been stripped from him because the offense is being built for the underclass men. He is now second guessing every decision and is costing him his senior season. His reactions are very delayed because he is in constant fear of losing his position and respect from his fellow players. It's hard to be a high school QB and carry the weight of your team on and off the field. Confidence goes a long way and once lost it does not give you that edge you need to make sound decisions! To me it seems he has been very cautious since Franklin Simpson and sitting out the North Hardin game. Remember, these are just my thoughts as a fan! I'm not setting the schemes or calling the plays week after week. I'm just calling it like I see it.....from the arm chair! Great game tonight Falcons! The series is 7-7 against Wayne so this should be a good night of football!!!I was thinking the same thing about this game. Not sure if either team is thinking about if this game means anything other than a W-L... It is always a really physical game with some major hitting, but I am betting money we won't see that this year with both teams looking ahead for playoff games!Interesting point about 2a.....1-2-3-4-6-10 are all in the west! 5-7-8-9 are in the east! Imo west is very dominant this year!Getting to the state game on the west side means most teams would have to go through 1-2-3. Almost an impossible task unless your Mayfield and have semi at home....I don't believe it would matter if they had to travel to space!!!!Awesome read!
