I think each team has 2 key players back for the rematch - Lorms and Lyons for Ryle, and Gray (and TP94 said a LB, too, for X). Ryle was sloppy in the 1Q against PRP with an interception and fumble in the red zone on two 1Q possessions. Obviously, that won't get the job done vs a good team like St X. Give me the Raiders by 3 on a late FG.

I'm expecting this to be one of the best games in KY this Friday night. Anything other than a close final score will surprise me. Two solid teams locking horns. Home field advantage will help the Raiders.

It's a take care of business first round game before a likely rematch vs. St X in Union this time in round two. I know very little about PRP but it looks like a running clock type of game. Anything to talk about here?

I'll be surprised if this is not a running clock. I would think SK plays "no punt" football to have a chance to avoid the running clock, but it won't matter in the outcome.

Congrats to Ashland on the easy win at SK. I thought the Neers could keep it closer.

42-6 Raiders with 4+ minutes left in the 2Q then Ryle coasts to an easy win to finish the regular season at 8-2. Good luck to Dixie in the playoffs.

Dixie invades CR Borland Sr. Stadium to close down the regular season. Not much to talk about here with two teams heading in opposite directions. I could see Ryle experimenting some on offense to prepare depth, but their defense will be difficult for Dixie to overcome. Best wishes to both teams as we head to November and playoffs after this matchup. Thoughts?

SK has played much better the next week this season after getting whipped. So, I expect that trend to continue vs. Ashland. I'm not calling for an SK win, but Senior Night and an embarrassing loss to Ryle will bring out the best in the Neers. I always root for our local teams when playing teams from OOT, so go Neers!

I believe SK had less than 30 total yards in the first half. For the game, Ryle forced 6 TO's and SK gave up a safety on a bad snap. Brady Lee was 3/14 with two picks including one pick 6. Tough sledding for him against an aggressive defense. Shocking domination by Ryle last night.

I haven't heard about Coach Collinsworth, but I'm not part of the Ryle team. Adam is an inspirational man and great coach. The players love him.

The SK offense rode the struggle bus to their home game at Menifee Stadium tonight. Their passing attack was completely shut down by Ryle. I was surprised by the non-competitive nature of the game. Congrats to Ryle on three running clock games to win District 6 in 6A.

Congrats to the Raiders for demolishing the Neers. 37-0 running clock with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter. SK could do nothing against Ryle. 43 smart people saw this coming.

It's been a long time since I've seen SK look this bad against Ryle. Ryle is a solid team.

I was being nice thinking SK would play their best game of the year. Boy was I wrong. Guru was right - Ryle is in a different league than SK this year. Congrats to the Raiders on winning the district with ease.

Ryle will not be lulled into thinking showing up is all they need to do. SK will play their best game of the year and I also think they play their best athletes both ways to have any shot of pulling the upset. Go Raiders!

Ryle travels the backroads over to Independence for their annual battle against the Neers. Both QBs are performing at a high level. The Raiders have played solid defense against a really tough schedule. They are well prepared for everything SK throws at them. I'm sure Ryle will try to disrupt the Pioneer air attack with their aggressive pash rush. Who walks out of Menifee with the district trophy?

The Raiders scored TDs on their first 5 possessions including a 99-yard drive. GC probably had 4-5 first downs on their corresponding 5 opportunities with the ball. Ryle's defense and pass rush crushed GC. The running clock started with a little over 10 minutes to play in the third quarter. Great job Raiders as they take control of District 6. On to SK!
