I could not agree more. I think they should be practicing kicking it deep every week. This will be huge in the later rounds of the playoffs. The teams are much better and stronger than most of the teams that we have played. So the less field you give them the better chance they have. We have a really good chance of going deep in the playoffs I believe. But we need a few things to come together on special teams and defense.

The Juggs are heading south this Friday to see if they can continue the undefeated season. Lloyd is coming off a bye week and healthy. Not sure if Carroll has enough in the stables for what’s coming. Running clock in my opinion.

Yes, I was just hoping to stay high enough to at least have three home games if we keep winning. And I think there’s a possibility we could have four games at home if the RPI gets to where I hope and also if we keep winning. Fourth, overall display the best of the best

I could not agree more! The benefit for the team, the school and the community. It’s amazing just to walk around and hearing people talk about our football team. I know here lately, walking around with a Lloyd shirt on even people from different schools and areas will ask me about the team. You start getting two, three or maybe even four playoff games every year at home it does bring the community closer together. Erlanger/Elsmere needs and deserves that. GO JUGGS

Well if that’s the case then Lawrence shouldn’t have dropped below Lloyd at all.

I’m a little confused on this week. Lloyd beat Bourbon County and drops from 6 to 7. Bourbon County loses to Lloyd and gets in the top 10 at the 9 spot. Lawrence County beat a Mason team who has two wins and jumps ahead of Lloyd.

Nice work @Honey Badger I think both teams left points off the board and hopefully learned from the mistakes made. With that being said, I think Lloyd won a game that also could have been lost. BC was no joke! Athletes all over the field that night. My film was distorted so I did not get a good look. What I do know is that BC's sidelines had no discipline. Coaches as well as players. Example being. One of the DB's apparently missed an assignment and more than one coach went off on him. So, two plays later there are still two coaches hammering him about that play. Correct your player and move on. Let the players have a short memory in this game. But when the coaches are yelling at officials about a play that happened earlier in the game, I think the rest of the team thinks it's ok. I will leave it at that. Now, Lloyd put up a total of 281 yards of offense while only giving up 181 yards (46 on the ground) to a team that has had no problem with offense. Both teams played with a lot of heart. I will give BC credit with turning things around so fast from the past three years. A little birdie told me that a few Paris made the transfer to help out. Good Luck the rest of the way BC.

Henry county makes the trip to Erlanger Lloyd this Thursday to try to upset the Juggs. Will Henry County have what it takes? I think not! Juggs win by at least 21. What are your thoughts?

I have a lot of mixed emotions on this game! Bourbon County is definitely no joke. There is no doubt our secondary was definitely exposed. I personally think that BCs Sidelines need to get a hold of themselves. They are such a good ball team. I’m going to watch this game again and then really give my thoughts. Go Juggs

I have been thinking about the whole cupcake schedule. Lloyd went out and scheduled Conner 5A Aiken, Ohio division two and Campbell County 6A. So I’m certain the strength of schedule went up this year and I believe Lloyd has improved. The question is has Bourbon County improved that much from the last two years scores against Lloyd with that same starting quarterback? I don’t think so!

I checked the roster for Paris the last two years and I did not see his name on there. Does anyone know where he played at the last couple years?

The battle of the unbeatens happens this Friday night as undefeated Bourbon County makes the trip to undefeated Lloyd Memorial. The winner of this game might end up the division winner. Early prediction I know! I understand that Bourbon had an emotional win Friday night, and my heart goes out to the young man and his family. A 28-0 win over Henry County was huge. Bourbon County has a quarterback that can do it all on both sides of the ball. Lloyds defense will have their hands full on defense. However, Aiken had a young man with great skills and speed as well and the Jugg's did a pretty good job handling him but did have a few break downs. I hope they learned from that, or it could hurt them in this game. I feel Lloyd just has to many athletes for Bourbon to leave with the win. It will be a somewhat close one, but Lloyd will wear them out in the long run. 35-21 Juggs win. There you go @Honey Badger what are your thoughts? Looks like it will be another great night of football so look for dirty Mike and the boys at the tailgate.
