  1. I totally understand that every matchup is different and I totally understand that they are high school kids and on any given Friday anybody can win. I was merely stating that on paper Murray would have the better shot at beating CAL.. So your assessment of CAL being the overwhelming favorite is not accurate due to what you just said.
  2. So if Lexington Catholic beat Boyle means they should have a shot at beaten CAL. Which I do agree with you. But Murray beat Lexington Catholic who beat Boyle. So in my eyes, Murray has a better shot at beating CAL than Lexington Catholic would have.
  3. I’ll be given my thoughts on the upcoming game after I do a little bit of research and some homework. lol don’t know much about Murray yet!
  4. As you can see @Honey Badger someone else was close to this score as well. Looking forward to doing some research on Murray and come up with some type of prediction. Make no mistake about it! I will be picking the Juggs, I just need to come up with a score. Quite a few mistakes on the Juggs part last night. I can't remember the last time that they had that many penalties and missed opportunities. The alien had two missed pick sixes I'm sure he wishes he had that back. He will get it next week. Young man is a player.
  5. I could not agree more! I have been trying to figure this team out all year. Whether it be the strength of schedule or the strength of the teams that they have played, or on the other hand, are they just that good? A convincing victory tonight will prove that they are just that good. Go Juggs!
  6. @Honey Badger this is how I think this can work out! If Lloyd goes out tonight and handles Russell by 21 points, I believe the next dance will be against Bell County. Bell County is a very run heavy team and Lloyd does a fantastic job of stopping the run. I see Lloyd beating Bell in a close game and then hopefully get a chance to dance with Goliath. I think Lloyd needs a very convincing win tonight.
  7. @Al Bundy Thanks for the Love! I do believe that the ones that are left in 3A are very top notch with CAL being extremely at the top. Lloyd will have their hands full for the next two games for sure and then hopefully get a chance at playing for a State title. No matter who the opponent is. I think there were probably 12 solid teams in the playoffs. I also believe that there’s some teams that are just top-tier. Just a few examples. Lexington Catholic beat Boyle county and Boyle County beat Highlands , Lawrence County beat Ashland Blazer and Ashland Blazer beat Russell 42-0 and Bell County does take 5A Pulaski County to double overtime and loses by one point. Pulaski County 5A is still in the playoffs playing West Jessamine and West Jessamine lost to Bourbon County 30-28. Sorry for being so long winded, but I just really was just trying to figure out the competition that is left. I think the competition from here on out is stellar. Sometimes I think the Juggs have a chance to get to state and times I think we don’t. I don’t think that the Juggs care who they are playing. I really don’t think they are intimidated by anybody. They are expected to line up and play hard, disciplined football.
  8. Thanks for the reply. Looking at the stats, Russell looks pretty balanced on the offensive side of the ball. So I was just curious to find out what their bread and butter is. I didn’t know what kind of success that they had throwing the ball but according to the stats, it doesn’t appear they throw the ball too bad at all. Also, I’m sure you know Lloyd has been somewhat suspect on defending the pass this season. I will say one thing they have gotten better. Either way it’s going to be one heck of a football game.
  9. @DevilMayCare I was just curious if you had a prediction of what the score is going to be in this game.
  10. I just saw that! I’m assuming it’s because of the possible weather coming in. I’m not sure why of the change other than that.
  11. I believe this game is going to be a showdown with plenty of excitement. Both teams have an offense that can hit home runs at any moment. I personally think that it is going to come down to which defense can get to the quarterback the most and put pressure on. Lloyd as a team has 21 sacks and I believe Russell has 18. I did see a post where a young man for Russell suffered an injury. Let’s wish him the best and hopefully he’s in this game playing. To no surprise, I’m picking the Juggs! The reason being I still believe the Bourbon County game changed the Juggs. I do not think they liked how that game went. I am sure both teams are coming to play with heart and passion. Don’t forget to stop by and see dirty Mike and the boys at the Tailgate. Juggs win 28–14. @Honey Badger hope you can make it.
  12. Don’t forget to stop by the Tailgate to see dirty Mike and the boys
  13. Lloyd wind 48–20 final score
  14. HC score two quick TDS to make it 48-20.
  15. 42-0 Lloyd at the half. It was a running clock at the end of the first quarter.
  16. Henry County has brought some electric to the field tonight. Looks to me like they’re ready to play.
  17. Well, I’m hoping they’re gonna kick it deep and pin them back. I’m not sure why sometimes they were kicking it short. I don’t know if that was on purpose or it just happened. But with that kind of speed on a kick off team, you kick it as deep as you can and let them go down and cover it. It would be nice to see him kick it to the End Zone every time.
  18. Well, at this point, it is sink or swim. So the offensive line and the defensive line better be tight. If not, you’re going home for the rest of the season.
