Both teams have very balanced offenses. Almost equally. Both teams show that they can get to the quarterback as well with Bourbon having 15 sacks on the year and Russell having 17. Should be a very interesting game.

The more I look into these matchups I’m starting to think Bourbon County is going to win this football game. I know I picked Russell on an earlier thread. After East Carter got beat by Henry County. I think Russell had a real easy schedule compared to what Bourbon has played. If Bourbon County wins I believe they will probably go back to Lloyd third round.

@Honey Badger You are correct! # 4 is grease lightning. And if I’m not mistaken, I do believe he’s related to number seven. Both of them are sophomores with great things ahead of them as well as the whole team. It’s very exciting having a team this young with this much success so far.

Well, Lloyd beat Henry County by 35 points. So I think Lloyd would’ve done the same to East Carter.

I think this will be a really good matchup with two very balanced teams. I have seen BC play in person and very little film on Russell. This could come down to who has the ball last in this game with giving Russell the edge due to, I think having a better pass defense. Don't get me wrong! BC is no joke and has no quit in their hearts. I'm not sure if the Juggs want to see them again or not. At this point you have to beat them all. I personally would like to see a different team come to Erlanger. Best of luck to both teams. 28-21 Russell wins.

Well, well, well! Look who’s coming back to town. Henry County will make another trip up to Erlanger Lloyd this coming Friday for round two. Some say it is a huge upset of what happened at East Carter, but is it really? I personally thought we had a date with East Carter. I would like to give a huge shout out to Landen Yoak, East Carters running back on a phenomenal high school career. Henry County will be coming in on a high and looking for revenge. Let’s hope the Juggernauts aren’t looking past this game because of the very convincing win in the first matchup. I think not. I think the score is going to be the same. No disrespect Henry County but Lloyd Memorial is finding the gas pedal and it is hammering down. I see the score being about the same. Don’t forget to stop by and see dirty Mike and the boys at the tailgate.

He played, and I watched the majority of it. It definitely was a mud bowl. Looked like he could not keep his feet. In all reality it was muddy for both teams.

Well, apparently we have the bad weather coming in tomorrow that nobody wanted to deal with and also don’t forget Saturday morning is gun season for deer. I would venture to guess that every coach on Bath County’s staff is going hunting Saturday morning.

The Lloyd game has been moved to Thursday at 7 PM. Apparently this is due to the weather coming in on Friday. ?PLAYOFF GAME UPDATE? DATE CHANGE: Bath County AT Lloyd will now be played Thursday, 11/6/25, 7:00pm. This decision was based on weather and made with Bath County considering the travel distance and time.

Holy Cross might lose to Newport in the second round. I could be totally wrong on this, but I’ve seen both of them play against the same opponent and I think Newport is the better team. No offense Holy Cross.

I like your top 10, but I do want to think on this for a minute before I actually reply. But I will say one thing #8,9 and 10 might be suspect. For some reason, I think Newport should be number 10. I am just not sold on Holy Cross. Lloyd played them in the preseason with half starters and HC absolutely looked like they didn’t have anything to offer. Well here they are 10-0. But in all reality, I’m kind of happy because Lloyd may be just that good this year.

Bath County travels to Erlanger this Friday to face the Juggs! I don't know much about Bath County other than what I read and they ended the season 1-9. Lloyd finishes the regular season 10-0 . First time since 1995. I see this game being a running clock by halftime. I know Lloyd won big over Boone County but did have several more mistakes in this game than usual. Penalties brought back two early touchdowns. Clean it up and get prepared for the later rounds of the playoffs. Winning this game I feel is a guarantee but after that you cannot afford mistakes, penalties or brain farts. I believe in the Juggs and they will be prepared.
