    First year ever in the district does not make them the owners. As far as Scott goes Lloyd had more yards but gave up 10 turnovers in that game.

    Well I definitely see your point but as far as Lloyd goes I believe they have a shot to win that game.

    I I think the difference in this game is the strength of schedule. It appears the Juggs have had much stronger competition.

    I think it will be. I don’t no much about Newport this year besides a nice solid running back. Other than that I have no clue.

    Beechwood will be to much in this one. Beechwood wins by 3 scores.

    This should be a good game but I think Lloyd gets the win. I think Theil will be back in action this week.

    Lloyd had 10 turnovers in that games and had more yards than Scott.

    History tells us the team with the better ground game usually wins. Beechwood has definitely played a way tougher schedule I just want to see the matchup.

    Also I just looked up the stats for all of Lloyd's games and Mason County is the only team that has reached the 100 yard mark against this defense with 104 being the total. This does not include the Ludlow game last night because those stats are not out yet.

    Lloyds defense is stronger than most think. Even against the teams they lost to they kept the yardage limited especially against the run. They actually had more yards than Scott but had 10 turnovers in that game. Scott had 131 yards Rushing and 63 Passing to Lloyds 103 Rushing and 111 Passing. So the difference in this game was the turnovers. Conner had 65 Rushing and 300 Passing. Lloyd had 50 yards Rushing and 182 Passing. The difference in this game was Conner was the better team. My point is I think it is hard to run against this defense.

    You read my mind. It will be interesting the next few weeks of 2A district play with Lloyd, Beechwood and Newport. I think we are in for some good games there.
