Bath County travels to Erlanger this Friday to face the Juggs! I don't know much about Bath County other than what I read and they ended the season 1-9. Lloyd finishes the regular season 10-0 . First time since 1995. I see this game being a running clock by halftime. I know Lloyd won big over Boone County but did have several more mistakes in this game than usual. Penalties brought back two early touchdowns. Clean it up and get prepared for the later rounds of the playoffs. Winning this game I feel is a guarantee but after that you cannot afford mistakes, penalties or brain farts. I believe in the Juggs and they will be prepared. Don't forget to stop by and see Dirty Mike and the boys at the tailgate.

This is one of the examples people have been talking about with the KHSAA setting teams up to take a multiple hour bus ride to get running clocked with the current playoff format. The bus ride may be longer than the time Bath County actually spends in Erlanger. With that being said, Bath County "opted in" to play this one which I respect a ton. It was never really an option because Bath would have never "opted out" for any game against any opponent. They are hopping on that bus because it's another chance to do what they love and they believe in themselves.

One thing that could be working in Bath's favor is mother nature. Suppose to be some nasty weather this weekend. Could turn Lloyd one dimensional. Bath is already one dimensional. Even if that's the case and this is a rush fest I still don't think it ends well for the Wildcats. Lloyd can run the ball with the best of them.

I noticed against Boone that #10 Barger got banged up and left the game and never returned while the varsity still continued to play much more time. Looked like a lower body injury and he needed help off the field. If he has ANY type of lingering effects there is no way he should play in this one. Lloyd is well equipped to put a big margin of victory up on the board while he rest. If he is not 100% there is no sense in putting him in a game where an injury can get worse or aggravated and him not be 100% for round 2. No sense at all in not making sure he is 100% for round 2. I have constantly called Barger an alien but all jokes aside he is human and injuries and depth is what cost Lloyd last year vs Russell in round 2. Lower body injuries can be very tricky. They should avoid that scenario at all cost this year. I hope he is 100% healthy and didn't go back in against Boone just for precautions.

The Lloyd game has been moved to Thursday at 7 PM. Apparently this is due to the weather coming in on Friday.

🚨PLAYOFF GAME UPDATE🚨

DATE CHANGE:  Bath County AT Lloyd will now be played Thursday, 11/6/25, 7:00pm. This decision was based on weather and made with Bath County considering the travel distance and time.

Way to be courteous Lloyd. I imagine something like this is up to the host school, or is it kind of forced?

Well, apparently we have the bad weather coming in tomorrow that nobody wanted to deal with and also don’t forget Saturday morning is gun season for deer. I would venture to guess that every coach on Bath County’s staff is going hunting Saturday morning.

Geez Mr. Attention to detail! Very good point about the hunting. My uncle was just getting his stands ready for the road yesterday. It is like a holiday for the real ones.

Lloyd would also much rather play with today's fantastic weather than what tomorrow is bearing.

Any where to hunt in Erlanger?

Bunch of deer out there by the old farm on the back of Garvey. Cherry Hill seems over run with them at times.

Old farm is gone. It is a bunch of warehouses now.
