I think they are in a tough District. Am I right in saying that Gallatin and Carrol are also in their district? If so, both of those teams are very talented and seem well coached.

You all will laugh but one of their assistant football coaches works in my building and he told me that Paula Buser actually did indeed apply. I'm not saying he's the msot reliable source, but the fact that he threw that name out there is funny. I wonder if he barks like a river dog.

I was watching the 8th region tournament down in carroll county when Grant was playing Henry. It seemed to me that the 'announcer' was calling everything a base hit, even if it was clearly an error. Dropped pop ups were called singles and throwing errors to firstbase were called doubles. I'm not sure if what the announccer says is consistent with the stat keeper but if it is then there is something wrong. Does this not hurt the pitcher's stats? Geez-Is this what you are reffering to?

We argued about this whole thing and the only 9th region teams are Boone, NCC, Highlands, and Holmes?:lol: Sorry sandman and madman, if I would have seen the schedule earlier then I probably would have kepy my trap shut. Especially since (I believe) any NKCA recognitions would have been voted on from the smaller 9th region schools.

Is it also possible that coach Miller thinks that playing a tough 9th region schedule will better prepare his team to play in the Regional All A and District Tournaments?

Will the coaching staff be the same? I heard the assistants were all leaving.

But it is to there benefit to play other NKCA members in order for their players to have a better chance for recognition. Why do you think they play so many 9th Region teams?

Your players may not recieve votes unless the other coaches see them play. Walton had a few girls make the NKCA Team last year.

Wake up Sandman and smell the coffee. I said that Walton is apart of the NKCA not the NKAC. Why don't you learn the differences between these two before you questionteam me. As a member of the NKCA, it is to their benefit to play 9th region teams.

There new coach is a NKY guy. Also, they are apart of the NKCA.

Am I right in saying that the new Athletic Director did not have any hand in hiring coach Russel? Was the new AD hired after coach russel was hired?

2000 Grad Russel Madden has been lost in the line of duty. Madden was an amazing athlete and will be missed by the Bellevue Community. A very nice article is in the enquirer today, he leaves behind a family and a town that loved him.

I was told by a Big Train that someone named Huninghake is interviewing for the Campbell job but I am not sure who she is.

They itnenedted to hire PErsinger the year before but something stood in the way. There is nothing Deron could have done to make his tenure at Bracken any longer.

I look forward to seeing the Lady Stangs play next season. I hope coach Feldman becomes a permanent fixture i nthe Brossart community. Excellent hire.

She wasn't playing at Highlands last week. Maybe Rhonda realizes that her team needs to be able to be succesful without her in order to get to the next level. Maybe she's not playing so the other girls can get more development. LEts be honest, Scott has the potential to be a major powerhourse, but they need the other players to compliment Lauren.
