The 16th region games have been rescheduled for tommorrow (Sat) at 1:00pm.

Now I know he has made the big time now that he has his own thread on BGP.

He has been Rowan County's one man pep band for nearly all of the road games and a great person.

Final.

Montgomery's wr made some great catches.

The West won over East 42-7 tonight.

From what I understand, Ian McClurg (Lindsey Wilson) is playing. He isn't listed the roster that I have seen.

Rowan County: DL Doug Sanders (Pikeville) DE Cody Wallace (Morehead State) RB Darrell Cross

Everything I hear is that it will be an internal hire. WKYT annouced tonight that the press conference is scheduled for 10:00am Monday.

There will be a press conference Monday to annouce the new head coach.

Rumor has it the Kyle Singleton, current assistant head coach, will take over as the head coach.

Shadon Brown is leaving Rowan County to become the DB coach at Wofford College.

Here is Rowan County's schedule. They have a scrimmage scheduled before the season with Boyle County. Aug 19, 11 Montgomery County home 7:30 PM Aug 26, 11 Southwestern at Somerset 6:00 PM Sep 2, 11 Mason County away 7:30 PM Sep 9, 11 Fleming County away 7:30 PM Sep 16, 11 West Jessamine home 7:30 PM Sep 23, 11 Ashland Blazer home 7:30 PM Sep 30, 11 Greenup County home 7:30 PM Oct 7, 11 Boyd County away 7:30 PM Oct 14, 11 Johnson Central away 7:30 PM Oct 28, 11 George Rogers Clark home 7:30 PM

Looking at the BGP/KHSAA/Riherds Scoreboard, Rowan County's schedule has them playing at Boyd County on Oct. 7 and playing Greenup County at home on Sep. 30. On the same site, Boyd only has 2 games scheduled and Ashland 3 with no indication of when Ashland and Boyd plays.

Oldrambler, thanks may be in order. You said in another thread that every time you picked Rowan to lose, they won. I guess we will know Friday night.

Lawrence's Hunter James showed a lot of class after the game with Rowan. He congatulated many of the Rowan players and even came to the Rowan sideline to congatulate my son who had been injured in the game. The folks in Louisa can be proud of him.

The score was actually 63-21, Rowan. The last PAT counted for Madison Southern but was not shown on the score board.

Your thoughts on this one. Rowan and MS have had three common opponents this season: Estill County, Lincoln County and Montgomery County. MS lost in all three contests and RC won all three. IMO Rowan Rolls in this one 49-14.

Darrell Cross with Rowan County had a big night with 7 TD's. Rushing-21 ATT for 375yds 5 TD's Receiving- 2 for 81 yds 1 TD Punt Ret- 1 for 41yds 1 TD

Greenup 55-6.

I also heard that Marshall wants him. Several other D1 schools are showing intrest in him also.

Mason names the score!

Final.

I see the Rowan JV getting a lot of reps in this one.

He gpt into a little frucus during last weeks scrimmage and was ejected. He was serving a one game penalty.
