Knox Central seems for real. Handled GC with ease tonight. I'll take Knox central by 2-3 touchdowns.

Both teams are very good no doubt. I will go with Knox they are the only team they really could hang with Bell County who IMO will win the state. Regardless, both these teams are good and it will be an epic battle next week. KC, 26-20.

I think that KC will have no problems this week against RC too big and physical for them. I will take KC 42 to 14.

Rowan has had an impressive season. 10-1 record, undefeated in district play, impressive win over Lawrence. Rushing for over 300 ypg while still accumulating over 1200 yards through the air. Defense has posted impressive numbers.

 

While I don't like the distance required for these two districts to play each other once the regional playoffs begin, I do feel it makes things more interesting because there are seldom mutual opponents to compare scores to. KC and Rowan, on paper, look very similar. I guess the question is, how tough are the teams that they've put up those numbers against? Not knowing adds to the excitement. 10-1 and 9-2 are nothing to sneeze at regardless of the opposition.

 

I don't think either team will blow the other out. Gotta go with my Panthers and what I've seem on the field.

Wing is an Elite 11 Quarterback that scored that ran the ball all over Lawrence a quality opponent. I seen were Knox played very well against Johnson Central, but the offensive look that Rowan will show will be much different Johnson Central smash mouth football.

You are probably right it will be hard for RC to just line up and run at KC.

They are very physical.

I think Knox will be too toughh up front for Rowan. I'll take the Panthers 35-20.
