Rowan County has a good team with multiple weapons at their disposal. Knox Central is big, physical and has a heck of a Defense. I would love to see this game. Having seen both teams play I think Knox Central will get the win.

Cross is a Great High School Running Back. Knox will do the job on him. They will Dominate the line-0f-scrimmage on both sides of the ball. KNOX HUGE!!!!!!!!!

Knox easily. Very easily. Too big, too strong and too mean!!!!

I'm anxious to see how this one plays out. I think Rowan is more talented at the skill spots than most that haven't seen them realize. I think Knox on a given night is good enough to beat Bell. Rowan probably has a little more explosive offense although Knox is explosive too and Knox is the better defense although Rowan was more physical this year on D than last. Knox is about as good as it gets in the box on defense in 4A. Really good Dline. Their QB has the ability to pull it down and cause problems just like Wing does for Rowan. Both QB's are really good. Cross is a little better than Terpin but he's talented. Rowan has more skill but Canady is the best WR although Hodge makes plays. Rowan special teams are better I think and Knox better on D. Both teams are very well coached. Knox very fundamental and Rowan very aggressive+tough to prepare for. Knox has to make the long drive. My gut says Knox but should be interesting.

I think Coach Brown will have a solid game plan to neutralize the size up front but I agree that RC can not run trickery and will have to show aggression with the line to be competitive. Rowan has weapons and talent but they are in uncharted waters. Don't be shocked if they pull this out at home.

Well what in the wide world of sports does Massey have to say about this game? That is who I have been waiting to hear from.

One thing that concerns me about both Knox Central and Bell is that neither has really been challenged since they played each other nearly two months ago. How would either respond with the game on the line in the 4th quarter?

 

8-2 Coach Larkey coached Harlan County is not a challenge? Bell is a machine. One of the most fundamentally sound teams I have seen.

 

Knox Central is very strong and will be the only team to give Bell any challenge. I do not see RC winning this one.
