Been at RC for 8-9 years...began coaching there right out of high school. Solid basketball mind that is a tireless worker. Danville will reap the benefits of his hard work. Yes, it is official. He accepted the job on Sunday and will begin there next Monday. Best of luck to the Ads and Coach Z.

Couldn't the same be said at Bath? Looks like it would be a lateral move at best.

I can tell you that Mike Murray was the best coach I've seen at Bath County. Very knowledgable and his kids played hard. He was always in the gym scouting. I do not think Campbell County would have hired him if he was considered a "bad hire" at Bath County. That being said, Bath Co. should never have fired Arlen Mcnabb. Good coaches that come to Bath Co. will use it as a stepping stone to another job (Mike Murray). Bad coaches will further destroy the program. At least Mcnabb will work and genuinely seemed to enjoy coaching there and will stick around for a while. Just my opinion...take it for what its worth.

This guy is a tireless worker; always scouting. It was amazing to see the difference in the kids at Bath in his one year there. More disciplined, played harder, and solid defensively. On top of that he seemed like a great guy. CC made a great hire, and if there's talent there he will be hard to beat.

Hard for me to believe there was a more qualified applicant than Joey Thacker. I bet a lot of coaches in the 10th breathed a sigh of relief there. Who is Brian Littleton?

The pay to play has really been an issue for the Kentucky side in the past few years. Kentucky has failed to get the elite kids to play in this game and Ohio has, resulting in some pretty good beatings in the series.
