Yes I was there. You keep on saying the word facts. Well the fact is Newport won the ball game 60-58. Another fact is, the goaltending that you claim took place, was not called, therefore was not a goaltend. Great job Newport, keep it up Wednesday and meet up with the Breds in the finals!

I think the close game with Dayton will end up helping Newport in this game. I believe the Cats will come out with such intensity (that they lacked in Monday's game) and will get out to an early lead. I'll say Newport by 8

And I'm sure several fouls were not called that would have sent Newport to the line. Things happen in the game, and you cannot pick out one play to put blame on for the loss.

Seems bitter? Anyway, if the goal tend was called (which it wasn't so I dont even know why I'm commenting about it), the game would have went into overtime. Who's to say who would have won? To be, Newport had the momentum in their favor at the end of the game (obviously). Congrats to Newport and good luck against the Birds on Wednesday

Great game tonight up on the hill. Dayton came out ready to play and jumped on Newport early on. Newport would cut it to 3-4 then Dayton would go on another 5-0 run. Hats off to Dayton on a great season, and an absolutely great game tonight. Congrats to the Wildcats and Sizemore on making those free throws. Should be an exciting game on Wednesday!

I agree, they have a great staff in Bellevue, and they bring out the best in their players. I think Coach Sorrell has a bright future ahead and will have the Lady Tigers rolling in no time.
