Great day in the mornin'. :eek: I have a question. Have you seen either of these teams play? Ever? If the answer is yes, my question to you is this: Have you seen this Greenup team play? If the answer is yes, then my question to you is this: How do you propose that GC will matchup with East or Elliott? If GC shoots 90% from the floor, they still won't have enough possessions to beat the likes of Elliott. While I find it amiable that you're in your teams corner, the reality train seems to have left the station.

True. My point is that there will be someone higher on the ladder than GC if you look at past history. However, what I'm concerned about is this; What will the GC faithful say if this standout group of kids doesn't make it to Rupp? Will they call for Fraley's head?

They can't beat Rose Hill. That fantastic sophomore class never has beaten Rose Hill's ninth grade class to my knowledge. Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.

Nothing wrong with transfers boys. Frankly, as poor as that team shot it last season, I don't see how they will score with what they had there. They'd best play sound defensively.

So, which is it, alot of quality officials or there should be more good ones? Or is my team still gonna get cheated? I'll say this and quit in this thread as my head is spinning, I think that some officials in the 16th are certain that folks paid at the door to see them. As some of our officials, like Bobby Hall and Steve Greenhill, have officiated over the years, they become less and less visible during the game. IMO, that alone makes a quality official. On the way home, you have to really think about it to remember who was calling the game. Let the kids play, call it evenly from baseline to baseline, that's all you can ask.

Nope, just some officials suck. It is what it is.

State tourney selections are popularity contests, IMO. Perhaps some other folks can elaborate, but I think that if you schmooze enough in the good ol' boys circle, you can get to the state tournament.

I sure thought that Raceland would win by a larger margin. Here's one I don't understand, how in the world do you march it down the field by running the Power-I and then abandon it? Russell would have made some hay with that formation had they continued it. I didn't quite get that one. And there were only around 6000 folks shy of 10,000. However, I think that 3000 of them drove.:irked: Congratulations to the Rams. On a side note, I'd be careful opening my yap as Ram fans. Sometimes an alligator mouth overturns a hummingbird hind end. Exactly. And when the other 3 are gone, assuming he stays, he'll be required to handle that scoring load, rebounding load, assist load by his lonesome. Elliott has a solid 7th gr. team. I doubt that when they are freshmen and he's a Sr. that they will be the "regional favorites".
