Thats not the case in anything involved with the KHSAA, coaches dont have a say, unless they are in administration as well.

Marksberry told me this a couple weeks ago when I seen him. Solid pickup IMO. SK weakness in the near future is at the QB position, this will help to make it a strength.

I just wish they would let teams have a spring game / scrimmage vs another team.

ST. X will get an extension due to the coaching search, if they want to do it. Thats what has happened to schools in the past.

Over the last few years the Kentucky Middle School Football Association has seen the spring 7 on 7 season grow, with more teams participating and more events each year and has seen how much it has helped programs to improve. As the KYMSFA continues to add opportunities to its members teams, coaches, and players, we are excited to announce something new for 2018. For Immediate Release: 2018 Spring 7 on 7 Announcement KYMSFA is excited to announce the addition of the KYMSFA 7 on 7 Cup Championship for 2018. During the 7 on 7 season, teams will earn placement points based on finishes in pre approved tournaments they enter. Points will accumulate throughout the 7 on 7 season, from events from April 7, 2018 culminating in the final tournament at the University of Kentucky in June. The top 2 teams with the most points for the season will recieve trophies. In order for a 7 on 7 event to be approved, please see the attached 7 on 7 cup and 7 on 7 event approval forms. Out of state events can be approved as well, please forward to the host sites. Remember, approval forms must be submitted 10 days before the event in order to be approved.

The 2018 KYMSFA Coaches Clinic is a month away, a couple updates have been made to the clinic schedule. Also Hudl will be there on Saturday for a live demo. Last year's clinic had 4 speakers that made it to the High School Semi Finals in 2017, a runner up and a State Champion. Also in attendance were all 4 Middle School State Champions in 2017. I will start. Survive the next 2 years. Not having a middle school team a few years ago is about to catch up with Owen Co number wise. 2018 might be ok, 2019 class is small (I think 4 or 5 players) and at a small school like Owen that can be problematic. The beautiful thing is Owen has the right man heading its program to get through the situation. Might not be pretty, but survive, because the future is bright, numbers are good at lower levels, got some decent talent to develop.

I remember that, back when the NKMSAA found out that they didnt have any insurance covering them at the time.

I get it, some are upset, because they were up, and continued to shoot threes to try and break some record, and in turn it ran up the score.

So its a decent amount of their offense. Again not being at the game to see it, see what Silver Grove did to stop them from doing it, I cant really be up in arms about it.

Ok you know what I meant, do they primarily shoot 3's more than dropping it inside.

I agree with this, however, not knowing the teams, does St. Patrick play a 3pt offense?
