Congratulations to a great man and a great coach. I have met Coach Mueller and I came away very impressed. It is no secret that a great deal of Highlands success falls square on the shoulders of Coach Mueller.

Having it in Western Kentucky is just ridiculous, it needs to be is a central location, and Western Kentucky is not it, that is a ridiculous location, and I Know the western people don't like it, but it is just plain silly to have the state finals in western.

Let me guess: his dad lost his job and they only could relocate to the Lexington area. Man, what is going on in Boyd County? Euton, Jackson, and Barber all transfer to Scott County from Rose Hill. Euton's dad says it's for athletic reasons. Carter plays for Ashland, then transfers back to Greenup County and is eligible, of course it couldn't have been avoided due to his custody being changed, yea right. Rose Hill goes on probation and virtually the entire basketball team transfers, but of course, that is not for athletic reasons, it must have been a coincidence. Now, Arther transfers to LexCath. What kind of free agent policy does the schools in Boyd County have? This year alone, there have been multiple athletes transfer between Rose Hill, Ashland, Boyd County, and Fairview. Perhaps there should be some kind or course taught by the administrators in Boyd County to the administrators around the state about how to get student/athletes ruled eligible after a transfer, because it seems they have it down.

I'm done now for a while, I will let you all chew on this stuff for a while. Let me know when you have so substance to provide.

Debate? I tell you facts and you say I don't know what I am talking about, give some substance to your opinion. I can back up my statement that Raceland's pass defense is terrible. Look what LCA did in the first game in the second half. They passed like crazy and took the lead that Raceland had at half time. As for the comment about holding Hayden to 40 yards rushing, I have a question, how many receiving yards did he have? I bet no one wants to answer that question.

Oh, I will be there this Friday to say I told you so.

OK Ram Fans, I am back and I have some more bad news for the Ram faithful. Last time everyone said I didn't know what I was talking about, and from the lack of crow being served, I guess that I was right in my predictions against Russell. Sure I missed picking the winning team, but not by much. But, I was dead on with my prediction of what would happen in the game. So, here goes. I have seen Raceland play several games, I even saw the Raceland/LCA game. Raceland's pass defense is going to get lit up. LCA did not do a very good job of scouting in the first game, and came out running the ball. After they realized that Raceland's pass defense was so soft, LCA started scoring on long pass plays. I think LCA will come out passing early and often to prove this point. They will pick on the Raceland corners and beat them into submission. After Raceland adjust with their linebackers, then the D-Train will run ramped.Raceland does not have the defense to stop LCA, and I don't think Raceland can out score LCA this time around. Thanks for giving me some credit Coupon. I think most people now realize that my football knowledge is not as bad as most people thought. I was giving an honest assessment, and people that that I was more burn out then I really am. Russell's line did play well, as I said. Boyles made some bad passes, as I said. Russell secondary did play well, as I said. Raceland had some trouble stopping the Russell running game, as I said, but Raceland did defend better then I expected. The outcome, I was a little off on, I will give credit to Raceland for pulling the win out. They did play well, and deserved the win. It was a great game, with two teams that played hard. I have been contacted by several people about my posts, and I just wanted to set the record straight. I am not a Russell person, when I moved to the area, I began watching local high school football. I do seem to like Russell and Ashland more then some of the other area schools. I just like watching these two teams. I also see Raceland, Greenup County, Fairview, and Boyd County, I just try to attend what I think will be a good game, and this week, I will be attending the Russell/Raceland game. I didn't mean to upset anyone, but I honestly think that Russell will win this game. Sorry to step on fragile toes, didn't mean to hurt tender feelings, just saying what I think. Russell is a quality program that wins, I noticed that quite a few people picked Russell to win in the contest threads, is that OK? I assume it is, and I don't think that I am the only one that sees what is going to happen. Russell wins, Raceland looses, simple fact.

I have thought about this game over and over and I can not see a way for Ashland to win this game. Johnson Central is just to good, and to big and strong. Johnson Central will win by at least 21. I just can't find a way around it.

Russell will keep the Raceland offense off of the field with long sustained drives. Raceland will not be able to hang with the Russell offense. Russell will ware the Raceland defense down with 3-5 yards at a time. Heck, the Raceland starters have not played four quarters in four weeks, they will be worn out come the fourth quarter. Russell is well conditioned and will bury Raceland in the fourth quarter. I have to disagree with the last sentence though, I don't think this game will be that close. Unless you think 21 points in close. Russell is Russell and Raceland is, well, little brother to Russell, and you know what happens when little brother picks a fight with big brother. It normally ends with little brother going crying to mommy. And, that is what I expect to happen tomorrow. I really can't believe that some of the Russell fans are playing the "We're the underdog" card here. That is not what we do, we tell people that we are going to beat them, then we go and beat them, and we then tell them that we beat them. Come on Russell, stand up and tell Raceland that we are Russell and they are not.

You guys are right, Raceland will win, the food drive. But, they will lose this game. I understand that Bailey will be back full strength for this game. Is that true? If so, Raceland will have trouble with him, Cordle, and Abrams. If not, Raceland will have trouble with just Abrams and Cordle. Either way Raceland will have trouble.

In all fairness, that was not a Raceland fan that made those predictions.:irked: Ryan, as for the line, I just think that the Russell line is faster and will be a lot better this week, no inside information, just my thoughts. I understand they are undefeated, and I think they have a decent team. But, they are not undefeated by much. I think Ashland should have beaten them (I was there), and came very close, and I think LCA should have beaten them, I understand Raceland only won due to a bad officials call (I was not there). To me this is one of only three tough games for Raceland, they were lucky in the first two, I don't think they will be as lucky in the third. Raceland's line is OK and do a decent job, but they are not nearly as tough as Russell's line. I think Russell's line will man handle them. Just my opinion. I just don't think that he throws well under pressure, and he will have to do that against Russell's defensive line. Plus, he hasn't faced a secondary as good as what he will see Friday. They will pick him at least twice. He is unproven in my book. I don't think we can compare the schedules here, Russell and Raceland have played some, well lets say, less then competitive teams. Thanks, I think. I think Raceland is overconfident. I have heard people in the community saying that Raceland was going to win easy, that is one of the reasons that Russell will win. As for the respect aspect, I have to agree with you on that. Even though I don't normally post that much, I do read a lot on BGP, and I thing that the Raceland fans are very nice no matter if they win or loose.:thumb:

I tell you right now, Russell will hand Raceland's backside to them. I watch a lot of North-Eastern Kentucky football, and Raceland in not up to the challenge. Raceland's offensive line is not strong enough, and Boyles makes to many bad throws. Raceland's defense will not have an answer for Russell's running game. Russell 34 Raceland 14 Livin the dream.
