The idea that I hear occasionally is moving back to one or two designated HS fields.

I think if a change is made in regional sites it will be to get away from playing on turf. Most regular season games aren't played on turf. Districts aren't played on turf. State isn't played on turf. So why play regions on turf?

Not like NCAA basketball at all. If you have a .083 win percentage in the NCAA regular season, you don't make the tournament. You go 3-33 (.083) in high school baseball you are in the postseason (by default). But those 3 wins can also make you the #1 seed in districts. Only 3-4 games in the regular season mean much and those are the seed games.

Play in games will be on 5/9. The first round will be 5/11.

And I stand by what I said. He was very complimentary of many players from other teams.

I know Dave as well. And he thought highly of many players that were not from CCH. He is a great ambassador to CCH and high school baseball. I think you are way off base with your comments. (Before you ask, no I'm not a blue colonel fan.)

Kevin is helping coach basketball now so maybe the two teams have run similar amounts :lol: But Kevin is one of the better coaches around. He knows the game of baseball extremely well and is a terrific guy on top of it.

Maybe Cooper was using the previous games to get kids work and work on things as a team to prepare them for the 3 regular season games that mean anything.
