The game should have been 12-0 and ended in the 5th, but the SS passed up on a short throw to second only to throw it away at 1st. Wheels fell off after that. Bankamper started and pitched well for the Tigers went 5 strong.

Yes. Not sure if he hit his pitch count or that they just wanted to get another pitcher some innings, but IMO the game was over had he pitched another inning. That was the 3rd game by Beechwood that day, but I overheard that this game was Dixie's 4th of the day. Wow. Guess you have to get them in when you can.

4 games or even 3 games in one day is just stupid.

I see nothing wrong with it. With the weather we've had, you have to get games in whenever you can. With strict pitching rules in place, you're not abusing them. Plus, you're likely giving younger kids valuable varsity experience on the mound when they probably wouldn't get it under normal circumstances.

There's no problem if you have 10 pitchers, but if you don't it's ignorant.

I think it would be ignorant to doubt the Dixie Varsity coaching staff, I don't think this is the first year they have scheduled games.

There is a reason so many younger kids are having arm issues. This doesn't help the matter any.

And what if 16/17 of the kids on the 20 player roster can pitch? Get the games while you can.

Dead wrong on this one HB. Gotta get swings when you can. None of BW top three pitchers threw a single pitch. Wasn't about winning or losing, was about getting some back of the rotation guys some innings and getting your hitters some swings. BW unveiled a sophomore in Noah Huesman, kid is going to be a player. Pitched well vs Dixie for his first varsity innings.
