Tigers 3-0 vs their neighbors down the hill this week. Frosh JV and V all with wins. Good week.

You got to love the "sweep" concept. A guy used to always take advantage of that when the Blue Colonels would do it no matter what sport. Good job Tigers!

Colonels up 6-5 entering the final frame and melted down a bit. A couple walks, hit by a pitch, passed ball and then a based loaded grounder misplayed by the infield resulted in the final run for Beechwood and the victory. CCH very shaky defensively. Congrats to Beechwood for hanging in there.

Whatever happened to that guy?

I know it is Krump's fashion, but boy does he take the possibility away of a big inning. For instance, I was at the game and on two different occasions, with the 3 and 4 hitters, no one out, and a man on 1st base, Krump's bunts. I believe they ended up getting their single run those innings, but who knows what happens if he lets his best hitters, actually hit.

Have not heard much about Wil Heppler this year. How has he been doing to this point in the season?

Been doing it for decades. Not going to change his philosophy.

While that has been the style of play for a long time, I'd agree it is hard to understand, especially when the better bats are up and there have been far better offensive lineups than the current one that did the same thing.

I believe Heppler has struggled a bit but good to see him with a couple hits last night. He's too good of a hitter to stay down for long.

So basically CovCath issued a gag order on him.

Not true. He just no longer posts.
