By far the most talent Madisonville has had in years. Lone Oak should be the only loss.

This game is at Madisonville and their expectations are very high this year. T Carr is absolutely fun to watch play unless your trying to catch and tackle him. I look for Madisonville to win this one and set the tone for football in Hopkins County. Christian County is just reloading again this season, but they have to find a solid quarterback. CC will improve through the season.

Not a lot of comments about Madisonville at no. 10. I have heard a lot about them having a load of talent, but I wonder on how successful they will actually be??

Should be another good season. Coach Smithhart has plenty of talent, but it appears that their crosstown rivals, Hopkinsville, might have a little more talent. Should be fun in the second region this year.

It was a great weekend of softball. These young ladies can play the game really well. Congrats to the west all stars on a 4 game sweep of the east. Good luck to the ones who can get to play in the ky-tenn series. I already know there are several conflicts so good luck.

Caldwell has a bright future. They have an incoming freshmen class that will be very good with a solid 8th grade class behind them. They are in a tough district with Hopkins Central and Madisonville. It should be an interesting year to how much they improve over the summer and during the season.

Sarge, Im sure you were at the game. Missed you, but I was there. WV had a good team. Thought they were going to beat NL. Like many teams there, I think the heat break was to Hopkins Central advantage. There were several games that the break actually was a break for one of the teams. Your thoughts?

Defeated Madisonville North 2 to 1 in the finals. Hopkins Co. Central knocked off #2 Christian County in semis to get to the finals. Congrats to the Storm!

I think it is great. Post season should be included. He deserves this award. I have seen in the past where it went to a particular player just because of where he had committed to play college ball. Congrats to Anthony. You earned it, and deserve it.

Congrats to Christian Co. They represented region 2 very well. But, Lou Eastern had the talent on the floor and didnt take advantage of an obvious size difference. I'm watching so many "post" players want to play outside the arc. B East, again had a size advantage, failed to take advantage. I just dont understand. But, in this case, I'm glad they didn't.

I believe that Dixie Heights and Daviess Co. are Tier 4. Rowan and Wayne down to 5. Bell down to 6.
