Union County has one of their better they have had in years. I was surprised when UHA beat Hoptown in the first round of district. I was really surprised when they beat Christian County.
Sunrise, geez o pete, that was fast. Both teams could have won this game in regulation, if they could have hit their free throws. Then in the first overtime, both teams scored just 1 point each. Again, either team could have won but neither could hit a free throw.

They were supposed to play in Owensboro friday night in a girl/boy doubleheader. But the weather forecast wasn't right last night. We didn't get what was forecasted in our area. Hopkinsville at Hopkins Co. Central was also cancelled. I believe they have found a date for that one, but Christian and Owensboro probably will not be made up.
Marshall just defeated Heath last night by 20. It should come down to Marshall and Paducah Tilghman. Graves County might slip in there with the right draw and keep an eye out for Ballard Memorial.
I understand completely. Its not fun riding big yellow to Union Co. where I am at. But let me say this, Muhlenburg is closer to Union than any 8th district team.
My edit is a post thought. It would be great if they would give some priority to competitiveness when all this has to happen. It would make for better regional tournaments.
I was just trying to find a way to keep all the large schools from being in two districts except Henderson who basically gets a bye to the region every year. I can also see Muhlenberg staying in the third and someone from the 4th region coming over.
