Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I was the game also, and all that I will say about it is that the thuggery is what cost them the game, not what got them back into the game. They got back into the game once they stopped the late hits and just playing football. Caldwell's inability to move the football in the fourth quarter and the fact they couldnt stop the Storm late in the game, again everyone has an opinion. Go look at the the film on the last turnover. The interception by Caldwell over the middle and around the 10 yard line, if you cant see defensive holding by the kid who gets the int, you dont need to post again. I can admit to the thuggery, they came out playing stupid, look at the film, can you admit to the no call? Which saves the win for Caldwell. Probably not. Back to the purpose of this thread, Lone Oak has a very good team and they should do well in this contest. And as Forrest would say, Thats all I got to say about that.

You are correct. It will come down to whether or not Murray can control the line of scrimmage. Caldwell doesnt want to play defense.

Lone Oak should be able to win this game fairly easy. But to the reference about Caldwell County, if you felt like you got a raw deal at the end of the game at Green County, Central had the screws put to them the whole game against Caldwell and still almost beat them.

District 1- Owensboro and Lone Oak will have some very interesting matchups. Madisonville North has plenty of talent and could sneak up on one of these two. Calloway and Hopkins Central have had really good teams in the past, but presently they are down and probably as low as they have ever been. Not a good district for them at this time. District 2- ACS and FS will battle year in and year out for this district.

Lone Oak will not have a problem with this one at all. Calloway coach has a way to motivate teams, usually the other team.

District 1- Murray, Critt and Caldwell are probably the most consistent. District 2- Owensboro Cath and Union Co should battle each other for the top spot.

Franklin Simpson is probably going to finish second in their district. Will get a first round victory in the playoffs, and by that time they might be able to upset a Lone Oak or whoever.

Since Madisonville had changed their offense to the spread and tossed out the wing T, the Maroons have increased their chances of a successful post-season. Why they were running the wing T offense is still a big question in Hopkins County. But after a 1-4 start they have spread out the offense and they now are taking advantage of their key player, Tray Carr, QB. He has a good arm and is very mobile. Cannot see Hopkinsville beating them now and dont see them beating Owensboro either. I would say this might end Coach Jones coaching career.

Murray has a very good team. Caldwell, at times, plays well but not consistent. Like tonight, leading Trigg 33 to 11 at half but then they hang on to win 33 to 25. Murray and Monroe are probably better.

This one might stay close in the first half, but I see LO by at least 20 - 30 points when its finally over.

After seeing that, Im not for sure if any player has ever caught a td pass. He should have spiked it right at the Chicago player, he would have gotten a flag, but would have scored. LOL

Franklin kid is the kicker for the STorm but has a hip flexor injury and was unavailable for the game friday night. Im not going to say he would have hit a FG in overtime, but inside 30 yards he would have had a chance.

Well Scribe, got to watch the overtime replay tonight. Squeezed it in between Ala/Penn St. game and Murray State/ Semo game. Looks like the Storm scored the touchdown in overtime. I wanted to ask you after the game what you thought but you guys have a longer post game show than we do. And thats not usually the case. All in all, was a good game, hope both teams have turned around their season now.
