  1. This looks better but I can't see moving Crittenden out of the 5th and then replacing with Dawson and Caldwell. Dawson would get to stay where they were. Here is a better proposition. 5th: Caldwell, Lyon, Trigg, and Crittenden. 6th: Union, Henderson, Muhlenburg, and McLean. 7th: Central, North, Dawson, and Webster 8th: Christian, Hopkinsville, UHA, and Ft. Campbell. With this alignment, only the 5th district remains a class a district. This would hack off all of Henderson, but they have had a cake walk for years in their 3 team district. I could see McLean and Webster being flipped around, travel might factor in also. The 8th district remains unchanged, unless the khsaa decides to take teams from the 4th region instead of the third.
  2. Coach did right, cant blame officials when your own team is shooting free throws to finish off a victory. Both teams can take a lot from the game as well as the coaches.
  3. There is really no reason to send 3 schools from the second region to the first region. Send 2 to cover the consolidation, whenever that occurs. I dont think they have started construction on the new school?? Also, Caldwell County's super is now on the board of control so when all this happens, Caldwell will not remain with Madisonville and Hopkins Co. Central. They will return to the 5th district with Trigg Co., Crittenden Co., and one other school. Probably Dawson Springs. It will be interesting to see who will go to the 2nd Region. And also where they come from.

  7. Sounds like a good game, but CC is a different team when those two are out there. Not saying they would have won, but would have been a better game. Now CC has to go to Marshall County Hoopfest.

  11. ACS 20 LO 7 still in first half. LO fumbled on their own 5 yard line, ACS takes advantage.
  12. I dont think this one will even stay as close as everyone thinks. ACS by 2 TD's, if not more.
  13. An interesting note: Ryan Hudson has apparently withdrew from UHA and has enrolled at Christian Co. Hudson has been a starter for the blazers at least the last 2 years. There are a lot of rumors flying around in the county, so I will let someone else give all the details.

  16. I agree, I felt good about my picks. Now I am worried about laying a goose egg.
  17. 7 - Holmes 5 - Estill County 3- Casey County 2 - Owensboro 1 - Henry County TB Owensboro
  18. 7 Warren Central 5 Henderson County 3 Union County 2 Boyle County 1 Glasgow Henderson County
  19. Union will be the favorite in this one. They are a top 10 ten in their class and the Storm have been struggling this season.
  20. Final. Lucas Crawley, QB for the Storm, was 18 for 21 and 213 yards passing. He also rushed for 212 yards. Both teams combined for over 900 yards of offense. Neither team has had a great year, but it was a very exciting football game.
  21. Owensboro kicks a winning field goal as time runs out. Madisonville lead most of the game.
  22. If Christian County has football success and goes deep into the playoffs, Hickey might not be factor in this game. Im sure other colonels are on the football team also. Anyone know?
