Lone Oak/Allen County-Scottsville Predictions

If Logan can score 33 on ACS, I cant see them ever stopping LO on any possession. LO will probably have 5-7 play drives that results in td's. LO wins this one easily. -
9 minutes left still 41 to 0 FC.

Union County 9 Hopkins County Central 6 (OT)
stepscalled replied to Birdsfan's topic in KY Football (High School)
Not a mild upset. Union has a legit running back with the Foster kid and Central is down from in the past. But, here is the how the game ended in regulation. Central was lined up for a FG from about the 18 yard line. It was a bad snap, and the holder(QB) gets up and rolls right yelling the hot call. The end for central head straight for the side line. He catches the pass and back pedals into the endzone for the apparent winning td because it was tied 6 to 6 going into that play. The official from behind the kicker comes running toward all the action and throw a flag just as the end is crossing the goal line. He calls, first pass interference on the offense, then changes it an illegal block in the back. Either way the td is waved off and it went into ot. Central fumbled on third down and union kicked a fg from about the 12 yard for the win. Im glad the call didnt factor into standings because its my understanding it was a bogus call. -

Possibly. Henderson is the district favorite and Webster Co and Union Co. will try to land the runner up spot. -

Young and inexperienced. Winstead has the most experience at post, but they have some young talent. -

Geez, 7 out of the 10 are in the district in which he(JW) lives? I will go along with 5 of them, not 7. Here is some questionable reasoning, Christian County is first followed by Henderson and Hopkins Central. Those two schools have only one player in the top 10? Hopkinsville is ranked 4th, yet they have two players in the top 10? -

Being a Hopkins Central fan, I thought they had a chance a winning the game. But the first 5 minutes told me that they never got off the bus. -

I think McLean might surprise them a little, but Allen should win the game. -

They did lose Hood and for the most part, return most of the rest that was there last year. Look for Cline to change to a more uptempo game. Maybe run and jump, and fly to the floor. They have several players that can fit that style. Basham is their big man, but is foul prone. -

It is my understanding that they have a couple of new players that arrived last week. Both from P. Rico and stand around 6' 4". They are in a tough district but this might make them more of a threat.
