Don't underestimate Smith if he is on he's very good. IMO he is top 3 or 4 in NKY. Definitely at least mid 80's.

Your allowed to be a homer on BGP. Your opinion is the one that maters. I wasn't slighting Dixie they have a fine team and are well coached, I've only seen them play twice this year one win and one loss but liked their team. Baseball is all about match ups so its hard to say so and so beat so and so and that makes them a better team. What were the match ups? # 1 go against #4? did one team have a big game the day before or the day after? I just try to judge teams by what I have seen and heard. As far as being a homer we all are to one degree or another. Good luck to Dixie this week sounds like they have a good week of baseball ahead of them.

Both pitchers had complete games I would say they both threw a lot. But both looked strong at end of game.

Roneker was on top of his game. By far the best pitcher Bellevue has seen this year. Holy Cross came ready to play jumped on Bellevue in the first inning and never looked back. The tigers need to find some excitement for the Doc on Sunday or they won't fair any better. Congratulations to Holy Cross and good luck this weekend.

Loyd has a good team with some great kids who handle themselves very well. They are a direct reflection of their coaches and their school. I'm sure everyone is very proud of them. Congratulations on a big win and best of luck the rest of the season.

Three common opponents Highlands, Campbell Cty, Boone Cty. Both teams lost to all three. Holy Cross by a total of 12 runs, Bellevue by a total of 7. Holy Cross has scored an average of 3.3 runs a game and given up an average of 4.5 runs a game. Bellevue has scored an average of 5.9 runs a game and given up an average of 3.5. Stats aren't everything but if you go by the numbers I have to go with Bellevue. Plus I feel like they are turning the corner as far as coming together as a team and playing as a team.

You are correct sorry for the miss print. I heard they may try to use St. Henry's field to play the game and printed them instead of Holy Cross in the title.

Both of these teams are very good team and the same valuable lesson can be learned by both teams from this game. "On any given day a team can be beat". Thats why we play the games. BTW TOG I really enjoy your post of the games. I think when you don't post right away people are disappointed and anxiously await your return to the board to post your thoughts and stats. I know I personally follow most teams through your post when CCHS plays them. You always tell the good and bad of both teams. You can't help it if your team is usually the one with the most good. Keep posting I enjoy reading them.:thumb:

Smith looked great against NCC last night. Definitely top 5 probably 1 or 2 in NKY. I haven't seen Isler in person this year, so I will leave my opinion at top 2.
