From what I hear from some of my friends still in the County, is that there are some interesting happenings going on in the County.

Tough loss for Boyd. I really dont understand the inconsistent play from Boyd. Anyone give us any updates on what is going on at Boyd?

Are you saying that Elliott County cannot beat East Carter as well?? Elliott County is about 10 pts better than Shelby Valley at this point. Shelby Valley is still a bit younger as well.

Paintsville is really, really down this year. JC will name the score against Paintsville this year. Coach Runyon knew when to run. Paintsville shot themselves in the foot last year by only playing 5 or 6 guys, which were mostly all Seniors. That left next to no experience returning.

I think you are forgetting about East Carter as well.

Good win for JBS, but I dont think they will beat JC.

Gift? About one of the funniest comments I have seen posted. No person should be considered a Gift to a program. As well, some loyalty promises of being fair and keeping politics out of the Team were made, but we see those are starting to change.

Elliott will win 86-62. West Virginia teams play a slower style. SC will hold Elliott below 100 pts, but will not have a chance to beat Elliott.

I enjoyed watching Elliott county play the other night that I am ready to head to the Beach with them. Which beach are they playing at? Myrtle Beach? Anyone got a exact bedroom I can shack up in? I will have to admit I have a tough time wearing Dark Red though.

Once again, pretty sad that a forum can have half of its post discussing whether a player played 2, 3 or 4 quarters of a basketball game. I can remember just loving the thought of getting in the game for 5 minutes.

How can you even talk about early season prep? West Va just started High School basketball season games yesterday. I would say South Charleston is way behind Elliott at this point. Plus WV basketball is NO comparison to KY Basketball.

By the way, that Number 0 for Elliott that played Guard in the JV game is going to be a special player too if he can get a bit more size on him. What grade is he in?

Not sure why you are getting wound up. I could care less if they played the whole game. My point earlier was that someone stated that NO starters were in the 4th Quarter, but YES Knipp DID start the 4th Quarter. Now with that being said, I could care less. See, this is the problem with trying to be a Elliott Co supporter. Myself, like the majority of folks around my area, are rooting for the little guys to achieve their goal, but dont start posting like the post above taking offense to everything. I graduated from Boyd and I have NO problem with what happened last night, so use your second official post on BGPreps to post something positive about like how good your team did.:thumb: By the way, welcome to BGPreps!
