Would it be okay for all UK commits in Kentucky just transfer to Scott County where they are promised to develop? Any kid with aspirations to play at UK or D1 would be making a great decision to go to Scott County, is that it? Should we set up an online application for admissions to Scott County?

A great deal of state could cry about the officiating too. Elliott County got thumped by 29 points. Most would say the officiating didn't cause the bulk of this blowout. In EC's only two games against top 20 teams this season, Elliott lost both of them and by an average margin of 20 points.

In order for Elliott County to win and end Miller's high school career, they will have to do something they have NOT done this season or the last season or the season before that, and that's beat a top 20 team. Mason will be sharp for this game and they will take full advantage of their height over the much shorter EC team that enabled the Royals to win easy the first time.

No question Mayo was a talent. He was too old to play his senior year in Kentucky under the rules of age limit.

Mayo was also the only kid driving to school legally as an 8th grader.

Does Mason County even have a player shorter than Ferguson on their starting lineup? Ferguson at 6-0 is giving 2 or 3 inches alone to Mason's PG Middleton.

The other 15 teams outside of Mason County wishes they had drawn Elliott County. Who in the Sweet 16 has zero wins against top 25 teams other than Elliott? And having Elliott ahead of Louisville Central is way off. Elliott does not have the speed and height to handle a team that tapped PRP out of the running.

Ridge Wilson, Vee Sansford, Russ Middleton, are the three best juniors in the sweet 16 and have all played against the states's best.

Botkin is the epitome of unselfish play. He is never going to light it up with points, an average shooter at best, not the quickest point around, but does everything he can to make those on the court better players. He does just as the coach ask him to do and doesn't shed a tear if his name is not mentioned in the next day's sports section. Congrats to Botkins for being a selfless player so that the Knights can reach their goals.
