Coach Winstel was filling in as AD while the regular AD was on leave. She sat on the bench because who wouldn't want her involved. She has more basketball knowledge than all the rest of us put together.

Not touching that last post but there have been a lot of changes at NDA. Coaching(Darpel to Nicole to Wyatt), AD is new as well. Change can create turmoil. We will have to see how it all plays out.

He simply said his daughter was doing well and that he was enjoying the games. He is a very quiet man who loves the game. At least he and I have loving the game in common.

Refs are evaluated and there are barely enough of them as it is. Guys work hard and in Championship games like last night no human over 25 could keep up with those highly conditioned athletes. Respect the refs as it is the most thankless job in the world.

Holy Cross plays as a team, that is why it is hard to pick these award winners. Every girl contributes as does several off the bench. Should not be hard feelings as picking 3 is next to impossible.

No bashing Walter but I would pick Cole over Mr. Snapp just due to his ability to get to the hole. Both great talents so really we have to split the hairs pretty thin on this one.

I am always amazed when I look at my pictures at the things I didn't see live. I agree with one thing, when the last whistle blows on any of these kids H. S. career it is a sad sad moment. I love the Regions but hate the finality of it all.

I can't wait to see the video after the conclusion. Don't miss that either.

It is easier to change the rotation of the earth than to change the KHSAA. I must admit they put on a great show though.

16 Regions and all apply the same rules differently, you have to adjust to the refs. Just how it is. I am a fan of the 9th Region refs and I watch them 4 nights a week. I am not a fan of the swap for Regions.

I think they are the first to qualify for the show, congrats!

I have pulled for both of these teams all season. May have to sit back and just take in the show. Nah, Ill take pictures.
