Breds just couldn't get shots to fall, and missed Free throws didn't help. Congrat to Michaela Ware, Loren Zimmerman, Sarah Neace, & Hannah Daunt on great NewCath hoops careers, you'll be missed.

Congrats to NCC. Really nice season for the girls. Holmes will have to play their best game to advance. About as bg a rivalry as you can get lately on the girls side in the 9th. These two teams really don't like the other.

Ware and Zimmerman have been so much fun watching for the last four years, can't believe it's over. I've been watching these two since they were in 4th grade. One of the best duos to grace the hardwood. It's been a pleasure ladies.

Ware may be the best player in the region. So fun to watch her play. Not the scorer of some of the others, but best overall bball player...quite possibly.

Refing was horrible again tonight. I hope the HC Holmes game gets a different group tomorrow. There were at least 50 fouls called, it really takes away from the game. They should call the obvious fouls and let the girls play. There was a point in the game were holmes was afraid to play defense. That being said, the girls made the adjustment and won the game. Hats off to # 50, they would not have won the game without her contribution, they will need her to get past HC, and in the state tournament if they make it. Coach Perkins needs to stop getting the techs.

 

Also, can somebody explain to me why he, (coach Perkins), takes his players off the lanes when they are shooting free throws. This makes no sense to me.
