Refing was horrible again tonight. I hope the HC Holmes game gets a different group tomorrow. There were at least 50 fouls called, it really takes away from the game. They should call the obvious fouls and let the girls play. There was a point in the game were holmes was afraid to play defense. That being said, the girls made the adjustment and won the game. Hats off to # 50, they would not have won the game without her contribution, they will need her to get past HC, and in the state tournament if they make it. Coach Perkins needs to stop getting the techs.

 

Also, can somebody explain to me why he, (coach Perkins), takes his players off the lanes when they are shooting free throws. This makes no sense to me.

 

To many fouls were called but again NCC had quite a few that shouldn't have been called, like the charge, the stripping of the ball and the push offs. Holmes lived int he lane without a 3 second call at all. Perkins cried about every call, he is lucky it didn't cost him the game.
