Hookshot, you are fishing with an empty hook. I have nothing aganist Russell or any school in the State nor their coaches. Just my observation of one game (against Boone). I am sure Sparks is a great player, I was just asking about individual stats. Stats dont always tell how the game is played but it is a good indication of productivity. Once again, this is the last time I am apologizing for something taken out of context. Ashamed of what. I wish her the best at the next level. All I am stating that in the past few years all that was noised about was the Fortman girl, didnt her much about Sparks until this thread started. Because I gave an opinion that I was not that impressed with her when Russell played Boone, you are now going to attack me for it. As I earlier posted, I wish her well at the next level. No wonder Raceland is doing well. Good coaching with a mix of good talent is hard to beat. What about the other schools in the 16th Region such as Ashland, Boyd, Fairview, Rose Hill are their coaches former players and athletes as well? Trimble was a great athlete in Baseball and in Basketball.

BTW, Great win Lady Rams! Good coaching by Trimble and his staff with this young girls team. Way to play team ball. The Lady Rams will be a contender for years to come.

In referring to the Lady Rams and their Coach, is this the same Trimble that played Baseball for Morehead State?

Reminds me of Kevin Walls of New Jersey, in High School he averaged 45 ppg. Signed with Louisville in 85 or 86 and did absolutley nothing. There is so much more to the game than just shooting it every time you get the ball.

From what I have read about the Lady Vikings and Coach Tackett it seems he would be a logical choice. Making the right choice will be crucial in the years to come. I just hope that Rowan doesn't get stuck with a cheerleader and an equipment manager coaching the team.
