I believe this will be the Bears best season. They have a very solid RB in Cody Taylor and a huge O-Line. They will also have maybe the most dangerous player in the region (Smith RB/WR/DB). Look for a bunch of kicks to go away from him or it could be 6. 1. Harlan Co. 2. Letcher 3. Clay Co. 4. Whitley Co. 5. Perry Co.

Marcum will do a good job. He led the Tigers to the freshman 13th region title this year.

They should again be one of the best teams in the state next season. I heard they had a real good young kid move in from the mountain area. Does anyone have info on this situation?

I heard over the weekend it was between Marcum and Combs also. Looks like my prediction of Coach Keith coming back will not come true.

If Hooker is 100% Clay could be a top ten 10 in the state with a Coach like Keith.

Parks may be to young to take a job like Clay Co. I am still going to put my money on Coach Keith. He could coach one year win the region and then give the job to a younger guy. With the team Clay has coming back this would be to much pressure on a young guy.

I agree, Bell Co. will be loaded on both sides of the ball. What kind of depth will Bell Co. have next season.

My guess would be Coach Keith. I would say this could end up being a situation like Knott Co. last season. If Keith takes the job I would place my money on Clay being a top 10 team in the state. Keith is a great coach, and Clay has a very good team coming back. They could also hire someone like Messer to be his assistant and coach in waiting.

Has Combs ever been a head coach? If not, you talk about pressure. Clay Co. is one of the top 2 pressure jobs in the Mountains. Not to mention Clay may be the top team in the mountains next season.

Bell Co. has had a very good 7th + 8th grade program for the past several years. Maybe one of those guys can step up to the next level.

Watts could be the best talent on the team.

I could see Wilson being a 4 year starter at ALC.

Congrats, GC is top of the line at that level.

I believe he also was the head coach at Cumberland in the late 90's. He has not coached in several years.

He played great @ Rupp two seasons in a row. This is what got the buzz going about Mr. Polson.

Clay Co. could be in the hunt for a district title.

Hickey or Knipp would get my vote. I would say Christian Co. may also be the best team in the state.

Transfers play a big key in most every district and region in the state.
