Who is going to be the top 5 teams in the region?

Of course with all the transfer rumors that could change really quick!

To be honest I don't know of any specifically, but Les and Westsider were talking about transfers on the regional favorites thread. Those are the rumors I am referring to.

My Top 10

1. Clay Co.

2. Bell Co.

3. Knox Central

4. Corbin

5. B-ville

6. Harlan Independent

7. South L.

I just don't see South Laurel losing to Barbourville and Harlan.

Whitley County should be better than several of those teams.

South Laurel lost 3 key players. B-ville has 4 starters back and Harlan Independent returns all 5.:thumb:

South Laurel beat Harlan by 44 last year, and South's second unit didn't lose any ground that I can remember.

 

Harlan will definitely get better, but I don't know about that much better.

I just don't see South Laurel losing to Barbourville and Harlan.

Whitley County should be better than several of those teams.

Whitley may be the favorite in the 50th district next year.

Whitley will be pretty good, Corbin will be pretty good, and South will be pretty good, and I think what that amounts to is that the road to to the 13th region title will go through the 50th, which could have 3 of the top 5 teams and it is within the realm of possiblity that they could have the top three teams.

 

I think Clay will be a team to deal with, and Bell will be pretty good. North loses a heck of alot, Jackson will be a year older and should be better, Bell could be a serious contender, and although Harlan returns a bunch and Barbourbville returns alot, I don't see them being serious contenders. The real team to watch may be Knox Central.
