Thursday night at Meiken. Huge district seed game. The Indians are 2-1 against the Colonels this season I beleive; with two freshmen hitting well for them along with Roenker and Ritter hitting well likewise. The Colonels pitching woes may hold them back in this one, but I look for a low scoring game. HC- 3 CCH- 1

I mean if were talking strcitly stats, he has to be right up there. In the neighborhood of .500 and 5-1 pitching with a grandslam all as a freshmen. He absolutley strokes the ball, plus has only struck out once this season. Meanwhile playing a top notch schedule.

Who ever doubted CCH. I mean it is a great accomplishment, but there are few if any who doubted the Colonel's would get to thier 20 win mark.

How about Tiberi. For conversation sake, he's hitting around .500 and is 5-1 with a grand slam.

He and the other freshman Conner Callery really are a treat to watch. The kids are ball players. Like I said, watch out for these guys in coming years.

Holy Cross seems to have the Colonels number lately.

Colonels pitching looked shakey tonight. Pugh was a machine though.

I didn't know that. Great job by the Tigers. My prayers are with the Myerhoff family. Coach Myerhoff is a great coach and a better man. As for the game, great win by CCH. Adam Warning is tough. Looks like May 13th, CCH @ HC is going to be a huge game.

HC won... If they want to use the excuse they can't field, well okay? Sorry I thought that was part of the game, but maybe it's just me. Bertke is a really good pitcher but he can't strike out everyone, his fielders will have to make plays. On a side note: This game doesn't mean anything to Beechwood, as I was reassured after the game by many fans. They either A) "Will beat HC in districts again..." or B) Well "they always beat HC in football" so they got that going for them too. Sorry for getting excited over a big district BASEBALL game, but who am I to do that anyway? I mean Beechwood beats HC in football...

He had an off-season surgery, but came back against Ryle earlier this week and threw a huge inning tonight to close the door on the Tigers.

Ritter gives up one earned run through six. Roenker shuts the door. Callery, Johnson, Kohake get the big hits for HC. Big win for the Tribe. Go Indians!!!:ylsuper:
