Congrats to Holy Cross - these two teams continue to meet in tournament championship games - this year's Doc Morris and last year's Connor Classic as well (won by CovCath 4-2).

I see from the account in the paper that my man Rob Bob Broering went the full 7 to shut down the Colonels. Like the lefty from Ryle, Broering proves that it ain't all about power. His 48 MPH curveball that he can throw effectively for strikes makes his 58 MPH fastball Nolan Ryan-ish.

How bout the freshman for the Indians Blake Tiberi? I have seen where he is really using his sticks this year and also twirling quite well also.

He and the other freshman Conner Callery really are a treat to watch. The kids are ball players. Like I said, watch out for these guys in coming years.
