  1. I for one want to see that. Need to make sure that Fort Thomas paramedics are on call as are Newport, Bellevue/Dayton, Covington and other surrounding cities because everyone isn't walking out of there in one piece.
  2. Another know it all I see. What was the halftime score? What was the deficit at the time of the "T"? Never mind, don't bother. So you don't think Ben Weyer would have had a major impact in that game if he was playing for Highlands rather than for NCC? Glad to see your buddy chime in with a "like" because the soccer boys stick together now don't they? If being down 10 is not in the game then maybe you should stick to watching that soccer ball more.
  3. They do have at least one scholarship kicker, however they do not like to give them scholarships for the most part right out of high school. Those kids that do get scholarships right out of high school have done nothing but run the kicking camp circuit for the last several years. An example, my son and I were watching Moeller play one day on television and his comment was that kicker does nothing different than I do, but he has a scholarship from Michigan State. Just the way it happens. Jared had very few sniffs from any D-1 schools to even be a PWO. That results from not having exposure at all of these kicking camp cattle calls.
  4. I can only remember him hitting the crossbar on a kickoff as a sophomore against Warren Central.
  5. Erik Anderson was sick. Neff may need some things, but basketball experience certainly is not one of them.
  6. Field Goals this year were 11 of 16 with a long of 46. 3 of the 5 misses were from 52, 54 and 57 I believe. The only two bad misses were in the first game against CovCath. He was perfect on PAT's this season and ended his three year career with 207 which ranks number 5 all time in the state of Kentucky. I cannot remember the number of touchbacks, but it was some number in the 60's I believe.
  7. Working on getting at least one of them to get in contact with you. Very nice of you 'ru to make this offer to them. Sure they will appreciate it very much.
  8. Give the guy some credit for trying to put something on here that is as unbiased as possible. Be thankful that he is willing to give the girls some publicity that they probably would not see otherwise.
  9. That is the second one at HHS this year. Mark Baron, a senior, got a 36 earlier this school year. Nice accomplishment by both and it is nice to be able to have the choice of colleges to attend.
  10. Obviously "offending" someone was your intention. "Wins handily" I doubt, may win but it certainly will not be handily. You do not want to get into a shouting match, but want to get on here and make negative comments toward a group of kids that played a game that you did not attend. Love the many that get on here and do not want to "offend", but then go ahead and do it anyway.
  11. So rather than talking about the game, we would rather talk about a former football player that claims he was told not to play basketball by the football coach. If everyone knows this, then state the guys name. There have been a few over the years that could have "helped" the cause, but few that would have been termed "difference makers"
  12. Now back to game. Birds stayed in the game for about 2 and 1/2 quarters and then "the call" really created a big momentum change. Birds commit a foul, NCC player claps in the offenders face and then a "T" is called (on Highlands). Not sure what transpired. Anyway, Breds convert the two tech's, then the two free throws and a missed shot on Highlands end and subsequent 3 by NCC pretty much sealed the deal. Not saying Highlands would have won the game, but they were still within striking distance at that time.
  13. Not that good, but took your boys to the wire and played Holy Cross tight to the very end. May not be very good in your eyes, but still have a really good chance of making the regional tourney.
  14. "A school that size", please define. Define competitive. Since you seem to know so much, would the game have been any different if 44 in white is wearing 44 in blue? Never mind, you do not need to answer that question because we all know that it would make a huge difference.
  15. How long is McNeil out for Cooper? Heard he has a broken wrist?
  16. No he will not play on the field at this point in time. All of the schools that have been in contact have mentioned that they like the fact that he did actually play a position on the field. He may do a little punting as well, but they recruited him to be their kickoff and PAT guy.
  17. A few questions 1. Will RCC9 be staying with you this year and overing his insight into this great "event"? 2. Was 'ru too cheap to provide you with the equipment to have an audio and video feed? All kidding aside, good to see that all regions of the state will get mention on BGP this weekend.
  18. I noticed on the KHSAA that Clukey has not played the last few games. Is she now injured also?
  19. Someone already answered the question above. Highlands had a 20 point lead late 3rd/early 4th and let Boone back in the game and I will leave it at that. Yes Q, it was a sweep. The JV game was actually a tourney game so the Birds have now won their first two and not sure who the next game is and where it is.
