This game was a little closer than the final score would indicate. Highlands again struggles out of the gate, falling behind by double digits before closing out the quarter strong. Play a nice 2nd and 3rd quarter and early portion of 4th and then they just cannot cut the Cru lead to less than 5 points. Turned into a free thrown contest late and St. Hanks made them as evidenced by the final score. Highlands has to re-group and get after Walton tomorrow night.

Not asking for just D1 football players, but rather a listing of any kids that are looking to continue in college. I still believe there will be a D1 player or two out of the bunch before it is all said and done.

After seeing this, it certainly explains a lot about why these teams are put together the way that they are. To only vote for Louisville kids and the team you played in the state final shows me the total lack of effort that was put into it.

Also should point out that game times are 5:00 and 6:30 which are a little out of the ordinary.

How about the year tiny little Brossart shocked the world and won the 10th region and then went to Rupp and won their first game to get to the quarterfinals.

So none of the kids in NKY are attending college next year to play football? What about Smith, Powell and some of the others that were talked about during the preseason?

Agree with this. I said at the time he missed the field goal that the Bengals were going to lose the game 17 to 14. He seems to miss a key field goal in each and every "key" game.

They will lose the first game of the playoffs because they are the Bengals. Incapable of winning the tough game because the coach plays everything close to the vest. Have you seen them run any fake punts or field goals at any point in time this year? They will probably lose next week to Baltimore and then limp into the playoffs and get it handed to them by the lowly Jets who have a QB that the Bengals cut.

The old play not to lose Marvin Lewis cost you a game again. This organization just simply is incapable of seizing the moment.

Did in fact play LB this year and last. Started the year at safety before some other kids developed and then was moved back to LB.

I would agree with you on that one 100 percent. Actually thought Dougherty would be the one left out to be quite honest.

I will say this again and this will be the last time. Not sure how a kid that goes 46/46 on PAT's, ranks 5th all time in the state of Kentucky, goes 11/16 on FG's with a long of 46, converted over 50 consecutive and puts a high percentage of kickoffs in the endzone is only good enough to garner honorable mention. Just glad that the colleges do not use the same criteria in their evaluation of players.

Yes you are correct on that one. 46/46 on PAT's and 11 Field Goals with a long of 46. Enough said.

I have already seen enough to make me question this list. 2 Field Goals and 52 PAT's garners you first team honors. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

Now I am even more curious and assured that I will have issue with some choices.
