Diamond Dandy, I'm not going to make an argument of this. It's a fact, it was a hit. If Cov Cath lost I'd be just as upset as you are, but that's just a ridiculous thing to worry about.:fight:

The only thing that touched the ball was the outfield grass and the outfielders glove scooping it up. 3rd basemen didn't have a shot at catching it.

It really isn't that he's swinging for the fences every time, that's just how strong of a hitter he is. It's almost effortless.

And one more thing. How many people have actually seen him play? I'm almost positive you haven't, seeing as how you are a die hard Beechwood fan. He is batting in the 2 hole and batting over .300. Is that weak? I'd take that any day. A put out is where he fields a ground ball and throws the runner out; not only to 1st but to any other base. That's a put out. Learn YOUR baseball before you make anymore attacks on my baseball knowledge.:flame:

Yea real tough crowd. Hes been fine since he was placed there. Airjordan and ukfan have a tendency to talk to each other on here in 2 minute increments. . . so I dont think there is any type of funny business or childish vendetta against LaFever on here by those two

Disagree. The second baseman had about 6 putouts with one error in which the ball couldn't be found in his glove.

All this game came down to was hitting. Conner absolutely T-ed off on all Cov Cath pitchers. The colonels didn't have the greatest hitting day but was not at all terrible. When the cougars put the bat on the ball (hard) all that Cov Cath could do was try and run balls down and make plays but it didnt seem to be enough. Everything was falling for Conner.

Popham for Dixie is a very good ball player. He competed well against top teams in the state in the beginning of the season and will be a solid ball player in the future. As for Shumate for Cov Cath, he is an average player when it comes to JV baseball. He is a step ahead most freshmen but in terms of Varsity playing time? I see 0.

No he was rehabbing his ankle still. Read my earlier statements. It is still not 100% as we speak.

Well the battle for Varsity SS last year was between Holocher and Lafever. It ended up going to Holocher.

Not killing them, but definitely putting a little more confusion into the system. And in the OF you don't get as many balls which is why i think he was in the OF. Shovers bat is what the Colonels are missing more than anything.
