Capital City Invitational

The Manual Crimsons showed a lot of heart and determination last night. They were trailing by 8 points with about 90 seconds remaining in regulation. They forced numerous turnovers with full court pressure led by Junior Quintez Sutton and Sophomore Dishan Romine. Romine had a chance to win it in regulation with 4 seconds remaining. He made one of two freethrows to tie the game. Manual led by 2 with 10 seconds left in the first OT Western Hills stole the inbounds pass and scored to force the second overtime.Manual finally pulled away in the second OT with two big time steals from Jordan Bond which he converted into a layup and an old fashion three point play. Bryan Repishti closed the door with free throws down the stretch. The game ended at about 1:00 am in the morning. I hope the Crimsons have something left for the Championship game against an excellent and undefeated South Oldham team. -

Manual played its best game of the young season last night. Quintez Sutton had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also did an amazing job of shutting down Taylor Barnette. He only scored 5 points on 2 of 12 shooting. Bryan Repishti and Trey Wells scored 15 and 10 points respectively for the Crimsons. -
Manual was missing their leading scorer and rebounder Andre Gray.

Price will be at J-town......Chane will be at Ballard and Kimbro will not be eligible at J-town. Since Kimbro started varsity in Kentucky his freshman year I think he would have to go back to the school he started at or his home school. The same situation happened with Eric Mosley. He left Fern Creek went to prep school, tried to enroll at J-town for senior year and was told that to be eligible he had to attend his home school which was Moore.

Where might he be heading?
