I'm hopeful McCracken can break into the top 10. Losing twice to MNH hasn't helped.

Nice win for the Tornado who have been up and down a bit. Interested to see how they fare against McCracken and Marshall. Murray is a 1st Region force as well.

I agree Mayfield will be fine, but the Mustangs might be a better team than many believe. They led PT at half and mounted a furious comeback that came up short. In their brief program history they often start a bit slow and improve over the season. Not unusual for a young program.

I'm a McCracken fan but I've always liked the Tilghman mascot! He is so cool!

McCracken seems to start their seasons slowly, but their offense should put up more than 14 points this year. McCracken in a close one.

I'm impressed to see McCracken Co. at #36 after just 6 years as a program.

Would love to see the Mustangs go all the way. The fact that these kids have been to the state semis so often has to help their chances. The girls softball won state a couple of years back. We need a boy's title to get a matching set!!

McCracken has played a strong schedule. I think the only KY team to beat McCracken was Bowling Green, with whom the Mustangs split a two game set.

Excellent game. I don't think the Marshals can stop the Tornado. I see round 2 of MCHS vs. PTHS on the horizon.

If McCracken Co. comes out of the 1st (Paducah Tilghman is strong this year) they can give just about anyone a tough battle.

I'm thinking PTHS and McCracken are the favorites in 1st Region.

I see where the Mustangs travel to Louisville this Saturday. Should be a great early season test for both schools.

Two longtime football rivals take it to the hard court Friday night at MSU! They split the two regular season games. Both were hard fought close contests. Mayfield has been strong most of the year. PTHS has been somewhat inconsistent, a problem in recent years, but they can play with anybody in the 1st Region. Who wins and why?

Look for Mayfield to make the final.

I'm just relaying what the sports commentators reported. I'm sure the 4th region has enough referees to send to more than one venue.
