  1. Elliott will find out how much the leadership of the Faulkners meant to their team. You guys act like the guys they lost will be replaced. Not a chance. 1. Fairview 2. Rose Hill 3. East 4. Ashland 5. West 64th is loaded with the exception of "the tragedy in Cannonsburg". How bad is the 63rd?
  2. "The One Man" sure is going to be upset by this post. I think Fairview will be tough. Fairview, Ashland, and Rose Hill will all fight hard to gain the #1 seed/bye due to the impotence of Boyd Co. Should make for an interesting regular season. Thank goodness for seeding.
  3. I hope all of her good players transfer to West Carter.
  4. I understand your premise and agree somewhat but you are contradicting yourself.
  5. I don't know what happened but it isn't 50/50. He either missed home 100% or touch home 100%. That being said if you hit one over the fence leave no doubt step in the middle of the plate. I know someone from Boyd Co. who was there and he said he did miss the plate by quite a bit, FWIW. Either way sounds like a great game.
  6. Fair enough. Can we agree that Boyd is a distant 4th?
  7. Like I said third best team in the district next year, IMO. You may disagree but that is how I see it. I don't know about Rose Hill's past losses but I can assure you nobody whines more about officials than the little round announcer on your radio broadcast and that my friend isn't debatable. Typical Ashland fan living in the past.
  8. Well then someone needs to hit the door because it has been awhile since Ashland "won big".
  9. Bob Kouns court!:lol: What is scary is that Bonner will commit as many fouls in next years district tournament as he did in this years. I will stand by my evaluation. 1. Fairview 2. Rose Hill 3. Ashland 4. Boyd Co.
  10. Zero, and I mean zero post play = no serious contention come tournament time. Third best team in the 64th district.
  11. I don't think there is a replacement for BCG just yet. So who do you think it will be? Not who you want but who you think ultimately is named the head coach at UK.
  12. I started the thread and I'm not offended by any of the opinions.
  13. Mayes will not call off the dogs and this is one time I hope he doesn't.
  14. Kouns has been doing better and longer than anyone else.
  15. Why would you ask that I think he does a good job. I might have him a tad high but really he is good as any except Kouns IMHO.
  16. There has been a ton of discussion about officiating on this board so I thought it would be interesting to see who everyone thought was the best in the 16th region. My top 5 are: 1. Bob Kouns 2. Paul Lewis 3. Bobby Hall 4. Chester Kouns 5. Tom Godbey I look forward to your input.
  17. Dang! That's quite a discrepency.
  18. How many FT's did Ashland shoot tonight compared to Rose Hill? Why we are speaking the truth let's tell the whole truth.
  19. It beats obsessing about who roomed with who in college.
  20. I believe their games are carried on FM 76.43
  21. I think he had 5 points. If he had score 28 more he could have forced ot. I have been waiting a long lifetime to see days like this. I can't wait for the district tournament. Fairview is going to spank Ashland.
  22. I know that they had 2 or 3 rough years prior to Jeff Hall taking over which would have been in the late 80's early 90's. My best guess is that is the answer to both questions.
