HOMELESS CAMEL Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 It would be easy to bag on Ashland when times are down, ESPECIALLY since I'm not the biggest Tomcat fan. With that said, every team is going to have their down times and Rose Hill has had their fair share. I wish Ashland the best of luck in trying to piece things together the rest of this year and possibly the next few years to come. I'm so proud of all the coaches and players for Rose Hill, who knows how the districts will play out, but for now they appear to be the best team in Ashland. That's just awesome darnit. :ylsuper: I was one of many here on the board that was wondering what was wrong with this team early on, the way they lost and even the way they won games sometimes. Fact is, they have come together as a team, they have come together at the right time of year and I'm so proud of them. :thumb:

It wasn't that long ago that Rose Hill was on the other side of these scores and Mike Flynn was very kind to our kids. To me the Ashland kids just really looked deflated from the beginning. Very difficult situation right now.
duck1220 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 :flame::dancingpa Nice win for the Royals!!!
Rickyp Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Any stats on the game? I listened to the radio on the way home. So I will try and relay what I remember. Euton 23 Jackson 20 Barber 12 Davis 7 Gambill 7 Arthur 2 K. Bush 1 Turner 2 Malloy 2 Team wise Ashland shot 25% and was 1-15 from the 3 point line. Rose Hill shot in the high 40's and hit 11 for 20 on 3's. Rose Hill out rebounded Ashland by 13. I think Ashland hit 21 ft's.
HOOKSHOT Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Royals keep rolling :ylsuper: Tomcats have some good players , maybe they can get it going before its over. May be a limited number fans at the 16th ??
spindoc Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Goodness sakes, that's all this old promoter can say. Wow!
"old"shooter Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Nice win for the Royals. Wish I could have been there to honor Matt Thomas on senior night.
Uncle Jed Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I hate to say this, but it was good to see RH come out after the half and put this game away. That is something they haven't really been doing. It is also good to see Chad Jackson hitting 3's. I am so proud of Robbie Barber.

Michael Corleone Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 How did Mr. Thomas do? I think he had 5 points. If he had score 28 more he could have forced ot. I have been waiting a long lifetime to see days like this. I can't wait for the district tournament. Fairview is going to spank Ashland.
Rickyp Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Interesting comment made during the Ashland post game show. It was said that Euton didn't shoot well going 8-17. Think about that for a miniute.
